Guy Waller played for Oxford University in 1973 and 1974 as a specialist batsman, winning his Blue in 1974 when he was an ever-present in the side despite a paucity of runs. He returned for a post-graduate course, winning a hockey Blue at the end of the decade. He taught at Radley College and Lord Wandsworth Collge before becoming headmaster of Cranleigh School.
