The KwaZulu-Natal allrounders Lance Klusener and Jon Kent have both been suspended for one match for dissent. They have been barred from playing the SuperSport Series Super Six match against Border which begins on March 19, after they were found guilty of dissent during KwaZulu-Natal's recent match against Western Province.
In addition, Kent was found to have contravened rule 1.4 of the South African Board's code of conduct, which states that "participants shall not use crude or abusive language nor make offensive gestures to any other participant, official or the spectators".
Klusener and Kent have been given the right to appeal against the sentence.
