Five players have been added to the South Africa Under-19 squad for the two three-day games against India in Durban. Matthew Arnold, Daniel Childs, Kreeson Naiker, Roy Adams and Reece Williams are part of the 18-man squad which will face the challenge of playing against a buoyant Indian side fresh from winning the tri-nation.
Dwaine Pretorius, the right-arm medium-fast bowler, is the only one from the squad for the tri-nation tournament, not included for the matches against India. Pretorius went wicketless in the only game he played in the tournament. Arnold, also a right-arm medium-fast bowler, has taken eight wickets for the Northerns in the three SAA Provincial Challenge matches he played for them over two seasons. The first game is scheduled between January 11 and 13, while the second will be played between January 16 and 18.
South Africa did not win any of their four games in the tri-nation tournament.
