Christiaan Jonker scored a blistering 63 off 29 balls to complement Colin Ingram's 93 off 84 deliveries, two innings that set up Warriors' final-over victory against Knights in Kimberley.

Chasing 288, Warriors were 189 for 4 in 39.1 overs, when Jonker joined Ingram at the crease. They needed 99 runs off 65 balls. Ingram had begun to accelerate in the few overs before Ryan Bailey's dismissal, and Jonker went into high gear from the start of his innings. They had added 42 in 25 balls by the time Ingram was dismissed, leaving Warriors with 57 to get off 40 deliveries.

Jonker carried on, and broke a period of eight balls without a boundary by hitting two successive fours off Shadley van Schalkwyk to end the 45th over. The 46th over, from Dillon du Preez, was quiet and contained the wicket of Rusty Theron, but Jonker compensated by hitting Malusi Siboto for a four and a six in the next. The equation boiled down to 17 off the last two overs, before Jonker ended the contest by hitting van Schalkwyk for two sixes in the first three balls of the penultimate over.

After winning the toss, Knights had also built their total around a brace of half-centuries. Rudi Second made 71, Pete van Biljon scored 86, and Obus Pienaar contributed 33 off 23 balls to lift the score to 287 for 7. Theron was the pick of the Warriors bowlers, taking 2 for 47.
