South African fast bowler Roger Telemachus has been suspended for one game by match referee Cammie Smith for engaging in "conduct unbecoming to his status" during the ICC KnockOut 2000 semi-final against India on Friday.
Telemachus appeared to deliberately bump into Indian batsmen Saurav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid as they conferred in mid-pitch during India's 95-run victory over South Africa.
He will miss South Africa's one-day international against New Zealand in Potchefstroom on Friday. It was not clear whether South Africa would name a replacement for their 14-man squad, which will be announced on Saturday.
