The right arm fast bowler took 10 wickets for Western Fury in 2000/01 and chipped in with handy runs down the order. An aggressive batter, Julie along with Avril Fahey put together the 2000/01 record WNCL 7th wicket partnership against Queensland at the WACA. Julie has returned to Western Fury after a successful off-season during which she represented WA at the Indoor Cricket Championships in Adelaide before being selected as a member of the victorious Australian Indoor Cricket Team that toured New Zealand. She was also part of the Western Fury team that contested the WNCL final in 1999 and will be looking for continued success this season. (Louise Jackson, 2001)
