Australia tour of Sri Lanka, 1st T20I: Sri Lanka v Australia at Pallekele, Aug 6, 2011
Sri Lanka won by 35 runs
6 August 2011 - night match (20-over match)

Lee to Jayawardene, OUT, Timber... The yorker. Jayawardene backs away again, Lee goes full, and in front of leg, Jayawardene gets bat onto it, but only to guide it to the the off stump

DPMD Jayawardene b Lee 11 (8m 11b 2x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Sri Lanka 12/1   TM Dilshan 1* (2b)   B Lee 1.1-0-7-1

Johnson to Chandimal, OUT, Hit wicket! I don't remember any hit-wickets in T20 internationals. This might well be a first. It's a length ball on the pads, but the extra pace forces him deep into the crease, the bat comes down real late, and the over-balanced Chandimal's front leg goes across and hits the stumps. It takes the Aussies a while to realise they have got a wicket

LD Chandimal hit wicket b Johnson 11 (15m 11b 2x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Sri Lanka 42/2   TM Dilshan 17* (11b 1x4 1x6)   MG Johnson 1.3-0-11-1

Watson to Sangakkara, OUT, what a soft dismissal, lot of premeditation in it as he walks down the wicket. The ball is not nearly full enough, and is also the slower one, and Sanga ends up chipping it straight to midwicket

KC Sangakkara c White b Watson 30 (26m 22b 4x4 0x6) SR: 136.36

Sri Lanka 94/3   TM Dilshan 33* (31b 3x4 1x6)   SR Watson 1.3-0-4-1
