thats a very good analysis by Russel Arnold... he praised the Tigers for the character they showed, but also criticised them for the poor shows in other dapartments... he certainly didn't go overboard with praise for either of the teams, and neither was he willing to judge bowlers on this pitch.... supporting him, we don't want pitches that stay the same for 10 days, but we also don't want to play on pitches that crumble on the opening day... both are bad for cricket!
well said by Arnold. you are really a good cricket analyzer.
Posted byBangladesh played well, everyone on saw that there is no doubt about that. thanks Mr. Russel
Posted by Great_Chucker on (March 13, 2013, 6:52 GMT)bring back Murali ...Sl cannot take 20wickets now, they don't have any quality bowlers
Posted by Hafiz_55 on (March 13, 2013, 6:46 GMT)This time Bangladesh played better cricket. Rusel Arnold praised young Bangladesh team for their courageous action on the field, Batsmen played many eye catching classic shots. At the same time he criticized for poor display of both team too. Match was Bangladesh vs Srilanka. Though he is a Srilankan during commentary he was impartial. The pitch factor is common for both team. The fact is it was a good cricket show, cricket lovers enjoyed the match. Bangladeshis have improved a lot. No doubt near future they will be a strong team. Spectators are waiting to see a spectacular competitive match between them at Colombo.
Posted byyes everything true Thanks Russel
Posted by Ain_EL_Sabet on (March 13, 2013, 5:31 GMT)Bangladesh has improved in batting but not in balling and fielding . Hope BD find some decent ballers soon and then BD will be all set .
Posted byBangladesh have not improved, on the other hand Sri Lanka's Bowling has worsened since the departure of Murli and of-course the pitch had a better say then both the teams. Boycott is rite Pitches like these will kill Test match cricket.
