Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka, 1st ODI: Sri Lanka v Bangladesh at Hambantota, Mar 23, 2013
Sri Lanka won by 8 wickets (with 32 balls remaining) (D/L method)
7.4

NLTC Perera to Anamul Haque, OUT, oh no! He stays on the back foot to a length delivery and pays the price as the ball comes in a touch, but more importantly, stays low. It takes the inside edge and splays the stumps

Anamul Haque b NLTC Perera 13 (36m 20b 1x4 0x6) SR: 65.00

Bangladesh 44/1   Tamim Iqbal 24* (27b 3x4)   NLTC Perera 1.4-0-12-1

Kulasekara to Mohammad Ashraful, OUT, brilliantly caught at mid-off! It was a length delivery on off stump and Ashraful tries to drive it on the up, but the ball stopped on him a bit and he ended up chipping it towards mid-off where Kushal Perera runs and dives forward to scoop it just before it hits the turf. Very well taken, the umpires check if the catch was clean, and clean it is.

Mohammad Ashraful c MDKJ Perera b Kulasekara 0 (13m 5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Bangladesh 57/2   Tamim Iqbal 37* (37b 6x4)   KMDN Kulasekara 4.1-0-31-1
12.5

Mathews to Mushfiqur Rahim, OUT, why play a shot like that! Angelo bowls a full length delivery honing in on the middle stump, and Mush goes for a heave and misses it. He was defending solidly and that shot was completely uncalled for as the run-rate has been good. Hits him right in front and an easy decision for the umpire

Mushfiqur Rahim lbw b Mathews 3 (11m 12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 25.00

Bangladesh 63/3   Tamim Iqbal 40* (41b 6x4)   AD Mathews 0.5-0-0-1

Mathews to Mahmudullah, OUT, edged and gone! It's a length delivery just outside off, nothing much in it and the batsman pushes at it without getting anywhere close to the line, simple edge to the keeper

Mahmudullah c †Sangakkara b Mathews 29 (66m 51b 3x4 0x6) SR: 56.86

Bangladesh 129/4   Tamim Iqbal 74* (86b 9x4)   AD Mathews 5.5-1-17-2

Senanayake to Nasir Hossain, OUT, flatter delivery on the pads, the batsman flicks it to short fine leg and the batsmen call for a single, but the throw comes in nice and flat and Tamim is struggling at the striker's end. He is short by a mile. That is the end of a very good innings by Tamim.

Tamim Iqbal run out 112 (194m 136b 10x4 1x6) SR: 82.35

Bangladesh 204/5   Nasir Hossain 35* (39b 1x4 2x6)   SMSM Senanayake 9.4-0-45-0
43.5

Senanayake to Ziaur Rahman, OUT, sad end for the debutant as he is unable to get bat on the ball. It was a quicker one on the off stump, the batsman played for the turn off the back foot and played inside the line, then he hears the painful music of leather beating wood. Unlucky for the newbie

Ziaur Rahman b Senanayake 0 (1m 1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Bangladesh 204/6   Nasir Hossain 35* (39b 1x4 2x6)   SMSM Senanayake 9.5-0-45-1
44.6

Malinga to Sohag Gazi, OUT, caught at point! short delivery outside off, Gazi goes for a cut but the ball gets too big on him, he ends up just fending it to Dilshan at point

Sohag Gazi c Dilshan b Malinga 6 (6m 6b 1x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Bangladesh 211/7   Nasir Hossain 36* (40b 1x4 2x6)   SL Malinga 8-0-38-1
48.1

Malinga to Abul Hasan, OUT, finally Malinga gets his yorker on target and it hits the base of off stump, no chance for the batsman.

Abul Hasan b Malinga 3 (14m 6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Bangladesh 244/8   Nasir Hossain 64* (53b 5x4 3x6)   SL Malinga 9.1-0-45-2
