Bangladesh wants to realize that they have to play another 2, 3 level up to gain more tests against top side. This is finance age and no board in the world wants one-side test matches ending in 3-4 days. First no real competition doesn't attract their cricket fans and sponsors. In addition, 3-4 days tests even minimizes their gate money resulting in even low anticipated revenue lost. Just put yourself in shoes of top cricket boards and you will realize why they are reluctant.

Now comes to the solution. To uplift their game in alien conditions, Bangladesh cricketers need to play in foreign leagues and county cricket. Doesn't matter if they can't attract the first XIs. Even if they can join 2nd XIs with low financial benefits, they will gain a lot more exposure. And no; I am not talking about limited overs cricket; they are generally flat tracks. I am talking about First Class competitions.

As a not Shakib fan, gotta choose him as the biggest star.

We want more away test matches. We will only improve if play in different conditions. Matters not if tests end in 3 days.

@CHITRABHANU: sugarcoated, just like Ban test journey has been. its the sugarcoating that has "won hearts" time and again.

Some of the choices should have been more forthcoming regarding the players - their ability, their seriousness etc. The current choices are to some extent a bit sugarcoated.
