A side beginning the second day on 300 for 2 will scarcely be put under so much pressure in the first session. But Pakistan have Saeed Ajmal, he has the support of Abdur Rehman, and the pitch is an ally. But all three batsmen to fall this morning were done in by flight. You can talk about helpful pitches and dead pitches, but spinners are so dangerous when they flight the ball. Join us at 12.40 pm for the post-lunch session

IBH with some perspective on Misbah bashing: "Everyone needs to calm it down against Misbah...NOBODY can fault his Test-match record and achievements. Agreed, he is probably no longer suitable for limited overs' games, but when it comes to Test cricket, Misbah has been amazing. Just because he lacks charisma (and has a lot of modesty!), people are willing to overlook all that he has achieved. A sorry case of witch-hunting I must say!"

Yasir: "Against England, he got lucky." That settles it. Misbah can never win.

End of over 118 (2 runs) Sri Lanka 366/5

Muhammad asks for a settlement to the 'MBD': "These people confuse me a lot in this MBD (Misbah Bashing Debate).. bashers use T20s and ODIs' references and defenders use Tests' refences. So the result is that misbah is great at test level and poor at limited overs cricket so why still keep debating when both sides agree on some points. bashers cant bring up a single point from tests and defenders cant bring an instance from ODIs... i think i just challenged these bashers and defenders. so bring it on."
