  • Overs 1-50
  • Overs 51-100

Perera to Mohammad Hafeez, OUT, Timber. Pererea breaks through the bat-pad gap. Two deliveries earlier this over had held their line. That perhaps is the reason why Hafeez pushed away from the body. The ball was short of a length, and seamed in this time. Beats the inside edge of the bat, and kisses the pad on the way to the top of off

Mohammad Hafeez b Perera 22 (33m 27b 4x4 0x6) SR: 81.48

Pakistan 35/1   Taufeeq Umar 9* (19b 2x4)   NLTC Perera 3.4-1-18-1

Perera to Azhar Ali, OUT, an unsettled Azhar has fallen. After two deliveries that seamed either way, Perera floats one sucker delivery full and wide. Azhar goes after it, but his feet are stuck. Playing too far away for the body, he edges this at a comfortable height to gully. Perera vindicating the faith shown in him

Azhar Ali c Samaraweera b Perera 0 (9m 6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Pakistan 41/2   Taufeeq Umar 15* (26b 3x4)   NLTC Perera 4.5-2-19-2

Kulasekara to Younis Khan, OUT, a duck farm here. Second duck for Pakistan. Lovely follow-up delivery from Kula after that big inducker. This one holds its line, and Younis pushes at it away from his body. The edge is soft, and PJ is alert to it, moving forward and fast to pluck this one

Younis Khan c †HAPW Jayawardene b Kulasekara 0 (13m 9b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Pakistan 50/3   Taufeeq Umar 24* (36b 5x4)   KMDN Kulasekara 7-0-27-1

Perera to Taufeeq Umar, OUT, Perera has struck in his eight over too. Close to the stumps, pitches just in front of leg, and there is no angle on it for it to miss the off stump. Taufeeq plays down the wrong line by at least 7-8 inches. Pretty poor shot. And he has a guilty look on his face as soon as the ball hits his pad in front of middle and leg. Simon Taufel judges it right, and raises the finger

Taufeeq Umar lbw b Perera 29 (71m 46b 6x4 0x6) SR: 63.04

Pakistan 56/4   Misbah-ul-Haq 1* (8b)   NLTC Perera 8-3-25-3

Perera to Misbah-ul-Haq, OUT, Perera's golden touch continues. Just when Sri Lanka were looking subdued, Misbah has an uncharacteristic concentration break. Walks down the wicket, Perera bowls short of a length and outside off. He has been leaving these for a while now, but follows this one, and edges it as the ball leaves him. That was too wide for a player of Misbah's class and patience

Misbah-ul-Haq c †HAPW Jayawardene b Perera 40 (147m 95b 7x4 0x6) SR: 42.10

Pakistan 141/5   Asad Shafiq 41* (115b 5x4)   NLTC Perera 13.4-4-45-4

Mathews to Mohammad Sami, OUT, accurate short ball, 134ks, towards his throat, Sami doesn't like it and tries to swat it away. All he manages is a lob to midwicket. Smart delivery for a tailender. Key was, it was slow enough to make him think he could pull it

Mohammad Sami c Perera b Mathews 9 (18m 17b 1x4 0x6) SR: 52.94

Pakistan 175/6   Asad Shafiq 56* (135b 7x4)   AD Mathews 4.4-3-2-1

Herath to Adnan Akmal, OUT, Oh Adnan, what have you done? He'd looked good so far, a seemingly harmless delivery from Herath, flighted on middle and Adnan made it a wicket-taking one, sweeping a touch too early and missed it altogether, it beat the swing of the bat to crash into the stumps, Pakistan are sliding again

Adnan Akmal b Herath 24 (42m 34b 4x4 0x6) SR: 70.58

Pakistan 198/7   Asad Shafiq 63* (141b 8x4)   HMRKB Herath 13.3-4-31-1

Kulasekara to Umar Gul, OUT, he is admonishing himself right away. He has had a brain implosion. He was looking so good and solid until he slogged across the line of a straight delivery, and lost his stumps. He annoys he has done a bad bad thing

Umar Gul b Kulasekara 7 (20m 19b 0x4 0x6) SR: 36.84

Pakistan 217/8   Asad Shafiq 75* (154b 10x4)   KMDN Kulasekara 15.5-4-44-2

Herath to Asad Shafiq, OUT, Herath strikes. This one has turned and bounced out of nowhere. On a length, in front of off, then kicking away. Beats the bat by a long way but seems to have gloved it. The top glove. But was it off the handle? I am yet to be convinced he gloved it. No bat for sure. Shafiq didn't walk. Steve Davis, though, didn't hesitate either. Watching replays it seems he did glove it

Asad Shafiq c †HAPW Jayawardene b Herath 75 (222m 158b 10x4 0x6) SR: 47.46

Pakistan 217/9   Saeed Ajmal 0* (1b)   HMRKB Herath 16.4-5-37-2

Herath to Saeed Ajmal, OUT, this is the real deal, though. Big sweep, misses by a long way, and is caught dead plumb. Wicket No. 150 for Herath

Saeed Ajmal lbw b Herath 6 (20m 15b 1x4 0x6) SR: 40.00

Pakistan 226/10   Junaid Khan 3* (11b)   HMRKB Herath 18.5-6-40-3
