View dismissal Imran Nazir c †Boucher b Pollock 0 2 4 0 0 0.00
0.4 Gone! Pollock locks Nazir with a nip-backer and produces a edge. Lands on a length, outside the off stump and it jagged back in. Nazir drove at it loosely, didn't expect it would come back so much and ended up driving outside the line. Gets an inside-edge and it flew to left of Boucher who pouches it safely. Pretty smart catch. First blow to South Africa. Remember they won the toss and put Pakistan to bat under slightly overcast conditions. 0/1
View dismissal Kamran Akmal run out (Gibbs) 3 30 23 0 0 13.04
7.3 Ntini to Younis Khan, Akmal's dismal time continues. He slips in the middle of the pitch and can't get back. Younis pushes a length delivery towards cover and Akmal rushes across like a express train. Younis is no mood to catch the train, he stays rooted to his station and Akmal has to turn back. He does but slips and falls. Gets up but by the time Gibbs had swooped in on the ball, sees that Akmal is just trying to get on his feet, and so runs with the ball towards the non-strikers end. And when he gets near, he underarms a direct hit and Akmal is well short of the crease. 6/2
View dismissal Younis Khan c Kallis b Pollock 8 49 38 1 0 21.05
12.3 Pakistan slip deeper into crisis. Now Younis perishes. Fuller and around off stump line, Younis lunges forward - rather is sucked forward by the length, and drives, his bat well ahead of the body, gets a edge and is swallowed in the slips. Abdul Baseer would have just shrugged his shoulder! 23/3
View dismissal Mohammad Yousuf c †Boucher b Hall 21 54 29 3 0 72.41
19.3 Huge strike for South Africa. Pakistan lose their best batsman. Teasing line outside off and Yousuf tries to guide it through vacant slip region, ends up steering it straight to Boucher. Pakistan in a hole here and that hole is constantly getting deeper. 41/4
Inzamam-ul-Haq* not out 45 148 97 4 0 46.39
View dismissal Shoaib Malik c †Boucher b Kemp 19 53 36 1 0 52.77
32.2 What a tame way to go! Another piece of rubbish down the leg side -full and on the legs, Malik tries to tickle it away again, instead send it right into the big gloves of Boucher. Don't tell me , this was a plan from Kemp, I would be gobsmacked. 87/5
View dismissal Abdul Razzaq b Kallis 1 14 13 0 0 7.69
35.2 Kallis nails the leaden-footed Razzaq. Pitched on a good length, outside off and came back in, Razzaq was glued to his crease, just waved his bat at it as he attempted to drive and the ball threaded the bat and pad gap to crash into the furniture 93/6
View dismissal Azhar Mahmood c †Boucher b Kemp 1 6 5 0 0 20.00
36.3 had to take a bus to reach it but he made it in time! slightly short and miles outside the off stump, Mahmood needlessly pokes at it and the edge is snaffled by Boucher. Another one bites the dust. Pakistan seven down and in deep deep trouble here 94/7
View dismissal Naved-ul-Hasan c †Boucher b Ntini 3 15 11 0 0 27.27
39.6 Ntini cleans up Naved-ul-Hasan. He is not happy with the decision. The ball nips back in from outside off, cuts Naved in half. He stabs at it, the bat brushes the front pad and the ball appeared to have flown through the gap without meeting wood but the finger goes up. Replays suggest there was no bat involved. 100/8
View dismissal Abdur Rehman c †Boucher b Langeveldt 0 21 18 0 0 0.00
44.6 Gone! banged in short and just outside off stump, Rehman tries to guide it to third man, is cramped up for room and nicks it behind. Another catch for Boucher. His sixth. Rehman didn't wait for the umpire's decision. Walked rightaway. Gilchrist would be happy. 106/9
View dismissal Mohammad Asif b Hall 0 3 1 0 0 0.00
45.4 cleans him up with a beauty! Landed on the middle stump line, full in length, Asif pushes at it without moving his feet, bat ahead of his body, and it shaped away to crash into the off stump. So we still have the movement off the track. Bit of variable bounce as well. 107/10
