South Australia crumble on 15-wicket day

South Australia 5 for 80 (Lehmann 25*, Holland 1-0) trail Victoria 184 (Finch 49, Sayers 4-40) by 104 runs

Fifteen wickets fell at the Adelaide Oval as Chadd Sayers ran through Victoria's top order to dismiss them for 184. South Australia lost regular wickets in reply, ending the first day trailing by 104 runs with five wickets in hand.

None of Victoria's batsmen managed half-centuries, with Aaron Finch top-scoring with 49. Cameron White made 45 runs but Sayers' 4 for 40 saw Victoria fold in the 69th over for 184.

Fast bowlers James Pattinson and Chris Tremain removed the South Australia openers - Sam Raphael and Jake Weatherald - and then Scott Boland, Daniel Christian and Jon Holland took one wicket each to reduce the hosts to 5 for 80. Jake Lehmann remained not out on 25 at stumps.
