Scorchers well placed at 12/5 to win BBL

The Big Bash League is nearing the business end of the competition and Perth Scorchers appear to offer some value at 12/5 to go on and lift the trophy for the second time in two years.

The Scorchers have great pedigree in the tournament, having appeared in all three finals, and are going very well again this year. They are all but assured a home semi-final and can go all the way once again.

Their meeting with top of the table Adelaide resulted in a narrow one wicket defeat and they should be confident of franking that form if the sides meet in the final. They have the two Michaels, Klinger and Carberry, in good form with the bat and crucially, the joint-leading wicket-taker in the competition in Jason Behrendorff.
