McKay stars in thumping Victorian win

Clint McKay made an immediate impression in the Champions League Twenty20 with a stellar performance in Victoria's opening game against Delhi Daredevils. McKay grabbed three wickets, all of which proved crucial in restricting Delhi to a paltry 98. McKay first got rid of a set Virender Sehwag in brilliant fashion, diving full stretch to his right to snap a one-handed catch inches from the ground. He then dismissed the struggling Owais Shah with a lovely delivery, getting some late movement to produce a nick to the keeper. And finally, he bowled Tillakaratne Dilshan, a big threat in this format, as he tried to step up the pace in the latter overs. McKay rightly walked away with the Man-of-the-Match honours, much to the disappointment of local fans who saw their team capitulate to some crafty bowling.
