Australia created a new world record when it defeated NewZealand by 48
runs at Christchurch today.It was Australia's 12th consecutive win in
One-Day Internationals the longest sequence any side has succeded in
maintaining.The previous record was of 11 consecutive wins which
Australia shared with two teams prior before this match.WestIndies in
1984-85 and England in 1991-92 had won 11 matches at a trot.Infact
