Why Ashley wasn't Nursed into playing a role in the national team? He could have been gradually groomed into leading slow bowlers in the team , over the last few years. Now, age may be used as an excuse; which wouldn't have been the case a few years ago. It is a mystery!

He looked very good, when he toured the subcontinent last year. He looked a good lower order batsman too.
