Manan Sharma is the son of former India batsman and Ranji stalwart Ajay Sharma. Manan is a useful allrounder, who bowls left-arm spin and is flexible in the batting order. His spin is useful in the early overs and the death. He toured Australia with the Under-19 team in 2009, where he picked up five wickets and scored 148 runs in five games. He was later named in the U-19 squad for the 2010 World Cup in New Zealand. His ambition is to give his father - a tainted cricketer - better cricketing memories.
