View dismissal DJ Harris lbw b Frylinck 13 12 18 2 0 72.22
3.4 well, this was on the cards. Frylinck bowls the same length, very full, and again Harris is concerned that it will be a short one and is caught on the crease. This one was straighter and rapped him in front. Looked plumb. 17/1
View dismissal M Klinger* c Petersen b de Bruyn 78 67 48 6 5 162.50
18.2 what a stunning catch to end Klinger's innings, he hammers it off the backfoot towards long-on, it was a flat hit, Petersen leaps about a yard inside the boundary to latch onto that one, he falls awkwardly after taking the catch but the ball remains safely in his left hand 159/4
View dismissal GA Manou c Cameron b Phangiso 12 16 16 1 0 75.00
8.2 talk about digging your own grave! Manou had decided early to walk away to the off side, expose his stumps and play the paddle scoop. The ball was outside off and short, so not the best delivery for the shot he had chosen. But Manou was not going to change his plan - went through with a backfoot paddle scoop, and ended up getting a leading edge that landed in short third man's hands. That was funny! 52/2
View dismissal CJ Ferguson run out (de Bruyn/†Tsolekile) 47 34 27 7 0 174.07
17.5 from Frylinck, is that the breakthrough Lions desperately needed? yorker outside off, Ferguson moves way outside leg, punches the ball towards long-off, batsmen decide to zip back for the second, the throw wasn't exactly over the stumps, but at a good height for the keeper's left, he break the stumps and Ferguson's last-ditch dive isn't enough to save him 149/3
DT Christian not out 11 13 7 1 0 157.14
View dismissal CJ Borgas run out (†Tsolekile/Petersen) 2 6 2 0 0 100.00
19.3 from Frylinck, Frylinck keeps it full, batsman moves away and whips it to long-on, pushing for the second which wasn't there, Christian had raced back to the second run, so the throw had to go to the keeper's end, it does and Borgas is well short 169/5
View dismissal TLW Cooper run out (†Tsolekile/Frylinck) 6 2 2 0 1 300.00
19.6 Frylinck to Christian, another wicket goes down, in comical fashion, full toss down the leg side, non-striker was racing for the single, the batsman wasn't, both men are the same end, the keeper was trying to throw it to the non-striker's end but it hits the batsman, still both are at the same end, then Cooper makes an attempt to get to the non-striker's end, the keeper has time to run up pick the ball and pass it to the bowler, who completes the run out 177/6

View dismissal JD Vandiar b Tait 4 3 4 1 0 100.00
0.4 he has found it, on a length and just outside off, Vandiar's stay is over, looks to drive this one towards extra cover, gets a thick inside-edge which takes out off stump, Klinger will keep that Golden Bat cap of his, no footwork at all from Vandiar 6/1
View dismissal AN Petersen* lbw b Christian 56 53 35 7 1 160.00
12.4 Christian has taken a big BIG wicket here and Petersen is out lbw. Another inswinger from Christian, coming in from that uncomfortable angle.. Petersen plonked the front foot out and was looking to work it across the line but was struck in front of middle, it would have taken out middle and leg. Easy call for umpire Jerling. 109/5
View dismissal VB van Jaarsveld c Klinger b Christian 8 16 8 1 0 100.00
4.2 van Jaarsveld wouldn't like to see a replay of that one, it was a harmless delivery, shortish on legstump, sat up for the batsman, who only contrive to mishit a pull towards short midwicket, a simple catch 39/2
View dismissal R Cameron st †Manou b O'Brien 17 5 10 1 2 170.00
5.6 an all-action innings from Cameron comes to an end, he looks to swipe to midwicket again but he misses is caught well outside his crease, easy stumping for the keeper, Lions lose their third 56/3
View dismissal ND McKenzie run out (Putland/†Manou) 15 19 13 2 0 115.38
10.3 from Christian, Woohoo, what have we? Run-out at both ends? Third umpire has been called on. Back of a length outside off, McKenzie eases into a pleasing cut that seemed headed for the point fence.. Or so it seemed, until Putland screamed across from deep cover to slide and stop and fire in a guided missile of a throw, just over the stumps. Manou removes the bails at the striker's end before McKenzie can slide back in and still throws the ball to the bowler's end.. Possibly a run out there as well, but the ball was of course dead once McKenzie was out. 94/4
View dismissal Z de Bruyn run out (Bailey) 11 16 11 1 0 100.00
14.3 Harris to Tsolekile, Another run-out appeal, and de Bruyn is out. Over-pitched on off stump and de Bruyn drives it out to mid off. He does not really put in the hard yards though, and Bailey's throw caught him probably a couple of inches short. He is quite surprised to see the decision, is de Bruyn, as are the fielders. Everyone thought he was in! 122/6

View dismissal WL Coetsee c Harris b Tait 4 10 6 1 0 66.66
16.5 Lions are falling apart. Coetsee is gone now. It was a length ball in the slot, and he went for the swing to the leg side and timed it pretty well, but picked the fielder on the ropes at cow corner. 134/7
View dismissal R Frylinck b Tait 17 9 6 1 2 283.33
18.6 Clatter! All one can say is - why does Tait even try anything other than the yorker? Perfect toe-crusher on middle and off, credit to Frylinck for staying in line with leg stump and saving his toes. Too bad, he could not save his stumps 160/8
