Sorry Geoff... You have never been a supporter of the Australians anytime, much less if it is the person who answers to the name of Ricky Thomas Ponting. I feel there is a lot for you to say about your own team members, especially about the poor form of Collingwood.
Posted by Milind_Jadhav on (January 3, 2011, 2:59 GMT)Many thanks Geoff Boycott. As usual very insightful and thoughtful. Your comments on strength of character were spot on as more often than not people tend to look for immediate past and draw strange conclusions. That said Ricky Ponting getting injured is indeed a blessing in disguise, however, it is a tad early to write him off as some people are suggesting...he still has plenty of steam left in him.
Posted by amanroy on (January 2, 2011, 23:30 GMT)Can you see Mr. Chappel? Now that's the way to appreciate the teams. I like the way he talks about India. I love to hear your views Geoffrey! :)
Posted by OriginalDaVe on (January 2, 2011, 9:02 GMT)boycott is the man. he gets crap for his attitude or his cricketing career (which was very good), but you can always see just how much he loves the game of cricket in all his public commentaries.
Posted byWow!!! I love you Geoffrey... I am so happy that you recovered and you are back!! And back with such absolute openness...Its so wonderful to hear you speak!!. Thanks Thanks Thanks
