Played at Adelaide Oval
26 January 2011 - day/night match (50-over match)

Lee to Strauss, 5 wides, oops, that will help England. Lee swings this a long way down the leg side, too far for Haddin to catch up with and it runs away for five wides. Still, swing there at least

Lee to Strauss, no run, better delivery this time, would be difficult not to be, outside off stump and Strauss leans forward to hang his bat inside the line

Lee to Strauss, 2 runs, nudged, fiddled and nurdled off the pads towards midwicket. Still a touch of swing for Lee

Lee to Strauss, no run, no swing from this length - too short - but the line is impeccable and Strauss stands tall to defend

Lee to Strauss, 1 run, shortish again, this time the line is wider, and Strauss, unusually for him, mistimes a cut shot. Earns a single wide of cover to bring Prior on strike against Lee

Lee to Prior, FOUR, Prior is away! Easy as you like. Gets a leg-stump half-volley and clips it neatly to the square leg boundary

Lee to Prior, no run, Lee adjusts his line to outside off stump and Prior lifts his bat high out of harm's way

England 12/0   B Lee 1-0-12-0

Lee to Strauss, no run, strangled appeal as Strauss inside-edges a loose drive into his pads. Good delivery, nipped back from a full length

Lee to Strauss, no run, whoosh, bit of a flat-foot swish outside off. Not a great shot but it excited Lee enough to have a chirp. Strauss is utterly unmoved as always

Lee to Strauss, no run, back of a length this time and Strauss solidly blocks back at the bowler

Lee to Strauss, FOUR, flash and four! Not entirely middled but Strauss really threw his arms at it and it cleared point and sped to the boundary

Lee to Strauss, OUT, that's all for Strauss, Lee gets his man! Another flat-footed swipe outside off stump, finds a thickish edge that Haddin gleefully collects. It was short and wide but not for the first time today Strauss missed the cut shot he normally nails

AJ Strauss c †Haddin b Lee 8 (13m 10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 80.00

Lee to Trott, 2 runs, Trott is away in classic Trott fashion, shuffling across his stumps to quietly work the ball off his legs towards midwicket

England 25/1   B Lee 2-0-18-1

Lee to Prior, no run, pitch looks very good for runs, ball coming onto the bat, enough bounce. Prior celebrates all of this by defending

Lee to Prior, 1 run, hint of edge here, half-steered-half-outside-edge, runs away to third man

Lee to Trott, no run, more solid defence as Lee continues to hammer away on an excellent line and length

Lee to Trott, 1 run, touch fuller and it's played firmly to deep cover

Lee to Prior, no run, Lee sears in a yorker, full and straight and Prior jabs it away just in time. 94mph according to the speedgun

Lee to Prior, FOUR, Prior looks in good touch, driving elegantly and on the up, wide of mid-off and speeds to the boundary

England 32/1   B Lee 3-0-24-1

Lee to Prior, FOUR, 'Welcome back,' says Prior, charging down the track and cracking a short of length ball over mid-off for four

Lee to Prior, 1 run, a swinging full ball at 146kph is the response from Lee, Prior digs it out towards cover

Lee to Trott, 1 run, length ball at 144kph, Trott tucks it towards midwicket and scampers a single

Lee to Prior, no run, Lee fires in a yorker on offstump, blocked to the off side

Lee to Prior, no run, shorter this time from Lee, defended solidly by Prior

Lee to Prior, 2 runs, a high full toss well outside off, clocked at 148kph, slapped towards sweeper cover by Prior for a couple

England 82/1   B Lee 4-0-32-1

Lee to Trott, no run, Lee nearly hits 150kph, that was 149.9, length ball just outside off, pushed towards down the ground

Lee to Trott, 1 run, good god! what a mess that was, terrible cricket all around, both batsmen find themselves at the same end after a huge mix-up, Australia still manage to not get the run-out, Trott blocks the ball from Lee and he's not sure where that went, he turns round to see it round in front of middle stump and has his back to the non-striker as the ball nestles between middle and off stump after rolling gently back, Prior was charging down the track, no idea why he was, Lee races towards the ball, collides with Trott at the batsman's crease, and bowler, batsman and non-striker were all at the striker's end, Lee manages to get the ball after a couple of collisions with Trott, he has loads of time to throw the ball to the other end and get the run-out, he fires in the throw wide though and the fielder at the non-striker's end couldn't collect it and Trott heaves a sigh of relief, as does Prior

Lee to Prior, SIX, whoah, what a shot that is, Prior absolutely wallops that slightly short one over midwicket, Lee can't be feeling too happy right now

Lee to Prior, 2 runs, full ball played past extra cover

Lee to Prior, 1 run, nudged toward square leg for a single

Lee to Trott, 1 run, slower ball outside off, worked to third man

England 100/1   B Lee 5-0-43-1

Lee to Trott, no run, good length outside off, Trott strides forward and drives towards cover

Lee to Trott, 2 runs, Lee gets that one to swing back into Trott. The length was full and Trott worked the ball through midwicket

Lee to Trott, 1 run, too wide from Lee and Trott reaches out to tap it to the fielder on the point boundary

Lee to Morgan, 2 runs, Morgan drives a full ball through point and gives the fielder at third man some running to do

Lee to Morgan, no run, pushed off the front foot towards the off side

Lee to Morgan, no run, Lee slants the ball into the left-hander from round the wicket. Morgan works the ball past midwicket but the fielder at mid-on runs to his left and cuts it off

England 174/4   B Lee 6-0-48-1

Lee to Collingwood, 1 run, starts well on off stump and Collingwood dabs a single to third man

Lee to Yardy, 1 run, very full from Lee, good line too and Yardy can only squeeze a single to third man

Lee to Collingwood, no run, full and swinging in, fine delivery, Collingwood can only just about dig it out

Lee to Collingwood, 1 run, Collingwood down the wicket, bounding down, and drives solidly but straight to deep cover

Lee to Yardy, 2 runs, some late inswing takes this towards Yard's pads and he flicks towards fine leg where Cameron white scoots around and slides to field

Lee to Yardy, 1 run, full again, excellent over really, and Yardy can only bunt to cover

England 235/6   B Lee 7-0-54-1

Lee to Collingwood, SIX, heave ho! There we go! Collingwood has finally middled one and he's absolutely mullered it. Down the wicket and slugged into the stands over midwicket

Lee to Collingwood, 1 run, this time it's wide outside off and Collingwood works to third man

Lee to Yardy, 2 runs, slower bouncer and Yardy has to wait and wait to slog this to midwicket

Lee to Yardy, no run, Yardy gives himself room outside leg and tries to carve it away, goes too far though and can't reach it

Lee to Yardy, FOUR, ugly, but it does the trick. Yardy again giving himself plenty of room and the carve is toe-ended past the keeper to the third man rope

Lee to Yardy, 1 run, full toss on the pads and Yardy wheels it towards deep square

England 257/6   B Lee 8-0-68-1
