Alastair Cook has confirmed he has no plans to relinquish the England captaincy in the aftermath of their crushing Ashes defeat in Australia

He doesn't need to relinquish the job, he will be sacked after Sydney along with Flower. Cook doesn't justify his place in the side with the bat anymore. Seriously, they are thinking of dropping Carberry? Oh boy they in a poor place.
