hey man! don't sledge Warne - he was just saying what he thought about Cook - saying that cook is abit boring is NOT a sledge mate. He is a lgend of cricket and a great commentator - he adds allot to the broadcast and this is from a staunch England fan.

Completely agree with Optic. Gary Ballance. My goodness. Last four innings: 112, 56, 45, 139. Going only on his Cricinfo biog, he had a reputation for hard runs. Altogether, this is a Pietersen-esque demand for promotion.

Amazes me that George has virtually said nothing about Gary Ballance over the past year or so tbh bit continually talks about Robson. Ballance has just been picked for the Lions but unsurprisingly he picked out Chopra as a potential No 6. Ballance imo is the most talented England qualified player that hasn't played for England, especially for the middle order. He's been near the top of the averages the last couple of years in both Championship and YB40 cricket. The last 3 years IN ENGLAND he's averaged 50 in FC and 56 in one day cricket. Which is by some distance the best figures of any England player. I think most Yorkshire fans will admit that he's probably a better player than Bairstow.
