Right, Salman Butt and Imran Nazir walk out. John Blain has the new ball. ON ON!
Toss Ryan Watson has won the toss and Scotland will bowl first.
Teams : Pakistan 1 Salman Butt, 2 Imran Nazir, 3 Mohammad Hafeez, 4 Younis Khan, 5 Shoaib Malik, 6 Shahid Afridi, 7 Misbah-ul-Haq, 8 Kamran Akmal, 9 Mohammad Asif, 10 Umar Gul, 11 Yasir Arafat
Scotland: 1 Ryan Watson, 2 Fraser Watts, 3 Navdeep Poonia, 4 Gavin Hamilton, 5 Neil McCallum, 6 Dougie Brown, 7 CJO Smith, 8 Majid Haq, 9 Craig Wright, 10 John Blain, 11 Dewald Nel
Pakistan have gone in with three specialist seamers. Malik said at the toss that he too would have bowled first.
Hello and welcome to Cricinfo's live coverage of the third match of the ICC World Twenty20, between Pakistan and Scotland at Kingsmead. This is Kanishkaa Balachandran and I will take you through the first half of the innings. George Binoy will take over later.
This is the second match of the double-header in Durban after New Zealand dealt with Kenya before the crowd could settle down in their seats. The first game was so one-sided, it reminded us of the World Cup. It will be upto Scotland to make Pakistan sweat it out or we could be in for another mismatch.
Pakistan are overwhelming favourites, but, cast your minds back to a cloudy March 17 in Kingston, Jamaica when Ireland created one of the biggest upsets of the World Cup. Memories of that game will still rankle Pakistan, so expect them to go on an all-out attack today. The batsmen have clicked in the warm-ups so if you're contemplating heading to the ground, heads up!
S Rajesh, our man at the ground, is keeping an eye on them. This is what he says," Pakistan are doing catching practice with a cordon of four slips - indicates just how they expect the match to go." Looks like they may go in with a pacy-heavy attack like New Zealand did.
Rajesh also informs us that only 20% of the seats are occupied. Play is set to get underway at 2 PM local time so there's still time.
Here's a fact for you - Scotland are the 12th international team to join the Twenty20 parade.

Scotland have done superbly to restrict Pakistan's powerful batting line-up to 171. If they bat sensibly they have an excellent chance of pulling this off. The pitch, however, has plenty to offer for Mohammad Asif and Co. Kanishkaa will be back in ten minutes for Scotland's chase.
