ICC World Twenty20 - 2nd semi final
India won by 15 runs
Played at Kingsmead, Durban (neutral venue)
22 September 2007 - night match (20-over match)

Johnson to Sehwag, OUT, but he's gone now! Johnson bowls this one back of a length, the ball sits up more than Sehwag expected, and he gets an outside-edge going for a slash over point, cramped for room, and Gilchrist gleefully takes it

V Sehwag c †Gilchrist b Johnson 9 (25m 13b 1x4 0x6) SR: 69.23

India 30/1   G Gambhir 20* (19b 4x4)   MG Johnson 0.2-0-4-1

Johnson to Gambhir, OUT, what a catch! Johnson bowls it short, Gambhir swivels and connects well with the pull, the ball's flying hard and flat for six but Brad Hodge covers good ground, then realizes he's overrun himself, moves back and holds onto a very, very good catch to send him back! Immense effort and Australia have picked up their second wicket

G Gambhir c Hodge b Johnson 24 (37m 25b 4x4 0x6) SR: 96.00

India 41/2   RV Uthappa 7* (10b 1x4)   MG Johnson 2-0-12-2

Johnson to Uthappa, OUT, Full and straight. Driven really hard towards cover. Andrew Symonds half fields that one. The ball goes just wide of him. Uthappa wants the single and has come down the pitch. Symonds grabs the ball and looks for the keeper. Gilchrist is not in position behind the stumps yet. Symonds lines the stumps up and throws them down with a rocket.

RV Uthappa run out 34 (38m 28b 1x4 3x6) SR: 121.42

India 125/3   Yuvraj Singh 55* (21b 4x4 4x6)   MG Johnson 2.3-0-24-2

Clarke to Yuvraj Singh, OUT, Yuvraj tries to repeat the stroke and this time does not quite get hold of the ball. The ball sails high and towards midwicket but does not have enough on it to clear Michael Hussey. End of a terrific innings from Yuvraj and Gilchrist's gamble with bowling Clarke has paid off

Yuvraj Singh c Hussey b Clarke 70 (38m 30b 5x4 5x6) SR: 233.33

India 155/4   MS Dhoni 15* (9b 2x4)   MJ Clarke 0.3-0-7-1

Johnson to Sharma, OUT, slower ball just outside the off, Rohit moves to leg and has a massive heave but misses. Dhoni takes off for the bye but is short of his crease as Gilchrist throws down the stumps with a direct hit

MS Dhoni run out 36 (21m 18b 4x4 1x6) SR: 200.00

India 184/5   RG Sharma 8* (5b 1x6)   MG Johnson 3.5-0-31-2
