ICC Under-19 World Cup - Group B

India Under-19s v South Africa Under-19s

India Under-19s won by 6 wickets (with 48 balls remaining)

We're almost ready for the start. Pieter Malan to take strike. Sangwan has the new ball

Teams: Both teams have made one change each. South Africa have brought in yet another left-arm quick, Clayton August, for Matthew Arnold. For India, Tamil Nadu's offspinning allrounder Napoleon Einstein comes in for the seamer Siddarth Kaul.

Parnell reckoned at the toss that the pitch might crack a little in the afternoon. Let's see if his decision is justified.

Hello and welcome to Cricinfo's ball-by-ball coverage of this Group B match between India Under-19s and South Africa Under-19s at the Kinrara Academy Oval in KL. This is Kanishkaa Balachandran, your commentator for the day. Allow me to welcome the rest of the crew - Raju back on scoring and Jamie Alter on bulletin.

Toss: We've just received word that South Africa have won the toss and will bat first. We'll bring you news of the teams shortly.

South Africa scraped through for a three-wicket win yesterday against West Indies. They made steady progress towards the target but made heavy weather of it towards the end. Ray Jennings, the coach, would have addressed that in the post-match team meeting. He's known to be quite a task master so South Africa could emerge much stronger today.

India are on top of the group at the moment on net run rate. A loss here will make their final league game against West Indies all the more interesting.

A lopsided script. Parnell's decision to give his batsmen a go at the start didn't come off well. They weren't prepared to face the swing and cut of Sangwan who sliced through the top order with 5 for 44. Jonathan Vandiar entertained with 53 but lacked support.

150 shouldn't be a problem, but it doesn't mean the Indians can chase them lying down. We'll be back very soon for the chase, given the early finish to the innings
