0.6 to TWM Latham, After having dropped Raval, Aslam makes amends and hangs onto this chance. Amir removes Latham for a first-ball duck. Good length, angled in from over the wicket, and then straightens away just outside off. Takes the outside edge near the shoulder of the bat, and carries to Aslam at first slip. He clasps it just below his chest. Look at that big, fat grin on Aslam's face; he's beaming like a kid who has got his favourite candy. Lovely awayswinger, Latham couldn't do much about it. Amir finds reward for making the two left-handed openers play every ball. 5/1
82.1 to MJ Henry, Good overhead catch from Sohail. Finally, someone hangs onto a catch off Amir. Full and outside off, Henry backs away outside leg and thrashes a drive in the air to a leaping mid-off. 270/9
2569943.9610615100
14.5 to KS Williamson, big appeal for caught behind, umpire Fry does not budge. There's a little sound there, was that a snick? Pakistan challenge the on-field not-out decision. Full and breaks back into the right-hander off the seam. Williamson, who is only half-forward, pushes outside the line. There is a clicking sound. No inside edge involved, nothing on Hotspot. RTS picks up a spike, but it does so after the ball had passed the bat. It grazed the right elbow of Williamson on its way to the keeper. Ian Gould, the TV umpire, however, overturns the on-field call and sends Williamson on his way. That's a surprise to me. Some of the TV commentators, however, reckon they heard a double-noise, indicating the ball may have kissed the edge and then hit Williamson's elbow. 39/2
25.1 to LRPL Taylor, inside-edged behind to Sarfraz. Sohail strikes in the fifth over of the second morning. Just short of a good length and seams back in sharply, and ends up cramping Taylor for room. He does not move his feet much and aims to force it through the covers. The inward movement takes the edge, and the keeper snaffles it moving to his left. Taylor's promising innings ends on 37 off 31 balls. 90/3
67.3 to MJ Santner, smart, low catch from Younis, diving across to his right and grabbing it in front of first slip. That's how you do it, Aslam. Full and slanting away just outside off, Santner wafts with an angled bat and sends an outside edge behind. Sohail has his third wicket. The drink will taste sweeter for Pakistan. 203/7
75.6 to TG Southee, Southee undone by the slower delivery. 100.9ks, flicked out from the back of the hand, spins back in like a googly. Southee is already through with his wild swipe. Lovely variation. Pakistan should have attempted the slower one maybe earlier. Sohail hits the top of off stump and tips the bails off. Sohail now has four wickets. 239/8
20.455232.511049001
37.1 to JA Raval, Nicked off to first slip. Rizwan grabs a hip-high catch, and sends Raval back. Good length and largely holds its line outside off, on a fifth-stump line, from around the wicket. Raval jabs at it in the channel, before belatedly loosening his grip, Rizwan, who can also keep wicket, grasps the catch. The angle made Raval play. Imran has his hands aloft. He collects his first Test wicket after more than a year. 113/4
55.1 to C de Grandhomme, there's a sound, Imran thinks he has his man. Sarfraz also seems confident. Umpire Ravi, though, shakes his head, and turns down the caught-behind appeal. The wicketkeeper coaxes Azhar into a review first ball after lunch. Full and outside off, straightens off the seam. Colin's front foot does not meet the pitch. He chases a drive. He has banked on the stand-and-deliver approach. It works against him this time. Hotspot detects the tickle, and RTS picks up a spike as the bat meets the ball. Sarfraz snaffles the ball. TV Umpire Gould rules it out, and umpire Ravi overturns his on-field decision. 170/6
83.4 to N Wagner, change of angle, Imran finds the outside edge, and second slip dives across to his left and snaffles the catch. Another top effort from Younis. Nice and full, starts outside off, and shapes away further. Wagner has a loose prod and falls for 1. Watling is stranded on 49. 271/10
1845713.16859010
40.4 to HM Nicholls, After softening Nicholls with the short stuff, Wahab makes the incision with the change-up full one. Sucker ball - hung up wide outside off - Nicholls is stapled to the crease. He reaches out for a drive with his hands and edges it behind to Sarfraz. 119/5

4.1 to Sami Aslam, Raval falls to his right at second slip and pouches the edge. Nice and full, bends away outside off, like an offcutter, Aslam flirts without any feet movement, excellent take from Raval. Aslam dropped Raval twice: first on 4 and then on 40, but Raval is in no mood to return the favour. 7/1
4.6 to Azhar Ali, Azhar and Aslam fall in the same over to Southee. Good length, angled into the right-hander, and then leaves him. Azhar injudiciously follows the outswinger with his hands and feeds an outside edge behind to Watling. 8/2
8.5 to Younis Khan, what have you done Younis? Loose, loose shot. But Southee perfects the 1-2. Bingo. Follows the bouncer with a full tempter. Southee goes wide of the crease. But this one holds its line outside off; on a set of stumps outside off. Younis is sucked into driving away from the body. He could have left that alone. Instead, he goes after it. Watling grasps the thin outside edge. Southee has ripped out Pakistan's top order, and is on a roll at his home ground. 12/3
56.2 to Sohail Khan, Southee snares the outside edge now and Watling snaps it up. Sohail falls three shy of equalling his best Test score, which came in Christchurch. This is shorter than the previous ball, and bends away just outside off. Sohail has to play at the outswinger, he is squared up a bit, and edges it behind to the keeper. Fourth wicket for Southee. 192/7
64.4 to Mohammad Amir, There it is. Southee has his first five-wicket haul in Tests since May 2013. Back of a length and slanting away outside off from over the stumps. Rears up at the batsman. Amir fends at it. Brushes the glove and lobs towards Taylor at first slip. But Raval moves swiftly to his right from second slip and collects it. 206/9
66.6 to Imran Khan, Southee finishes off with a six-for. Follows the full delivery now with a hip-high short ball on leg stump. Imran fends at it awkwardly, and gloves it to Watling moving to his left. Azam is stranded on 90.. 216/10
1953001.57963001
922913.22425000
57.5 to Wahab Riaz, that looks adjacent. Umpire Ravi's finger goes up, Wahab wants a review. Full and on middle, angled in from over the wicket, the front pad comes a long way across and gets in the way of the bat, and he is hit below the knee-roll. Hotspot does not detect a blotch, nothing on RTS. No bat involved. Projections return umpire's call on leg stump. Enough to send Wahab back. 193/8
1425934.21577200
21.1 to Asad Shafiq, Shafiq has chopped on. Full and angling away wide outside off, Shafiq goes for a big drive through the covers with no feet. Plays with an angled bat. He can only drag it back onto the middle stump via a thick inside edge. Pakistan four down for only 51. 51/4
21.2 to Mohammad Rizwan, Rizwan bags a first-ball duck on Test debut. Hooked into the hands of square-ish long leg. Shoulder-high bouncer on the leg stump, that's a Wagner special, cramps him for room. Rizwan could have evaded it. Instead, he hooks it. Gets a good chunk of wood on it, but picks out Henry at the boundary. Rizwan stands in the middle in reflection. He can't believe it, he slowly drags himself off the field, while Wagner is mobbed by his team-mates. 51/5
41.1 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, Wagner provides NZ with the breakthrough. Raval moves to his right and snaffles another sharp catch. Good length and angling away outside off from over the wicket. Sarfraz throws his hands at a drive and slashes an outside edge, which flies to Raval at second slip. Sarfraz gone for 41 off 44 balls. Raval takes it by his right shoulder. Replays show the ball bounced out of the right hand, it ends up in his left. The bowler points at Williamson. Ian Smith on TV commentary says Williamson may have thought about pulling Wagner out of the attack before this over. Sarfraz added 32 off 28 balls on the third morning. 125/6

7.3 to JA Raval, third lbw appeal of the morning, and this is plumb. This inswinger would have carried on to crash into middle stump. Umpire Fry's finger goes up. Pitched up and Amir brings this one back into Raval, who is caught on the crease this time. He plays down the wrong line. Pinned on the front pad well below the knee-roll. Crafty bowling from Amir, follows up a brace of outswingers with an inswinger. Raval knew he was gone, and simply walked off. 11/1
1726904.05698000
20.347633.709415000
37.2 to KS Williamson, Imran snaffles Williamson in his third over after lunch. Beauty from Imran. Good length, angled into the right-hander from over the wicket, straightens just enough off the seam to take the outside edge. Williamson is slightly opened up, as he prods defensively, although he doesn't follow the ball, and looks to play down the line. Hotspot detects a white blotch, confirming the little tickle, and Sarfraz does the rest. You need a beauty to remove Williamson. 107/2
67.5 to HM Nicholls, dug in short and wide outside off, angling away further. Dirty ball. Dirty shot from Nicholls. He leaps and has a swish at it. Edges it behind to Sarfraz moving to his left. 219/4
71.6 to C de Grandhomme, De Grandhomme skews a catch to mid-off moving to his right. Back of a length and outside off, he eyes a leg-side slog-pull over vacant midwicket, after going deep in the crease. He only leading-edges it in the air and holes out to Azhar who completes the catch behind the bowler. End of a breezy knock. Taylor only contributed one run in the 35-run stand off 25 balls. 254/5
1935312.78929002
50.4 to TWM Latham, Wahab bounces out Latham. Wahab's front foot is okay now. 138ks, hostile bouncer, homing in towards the head of Latham, from over the wicket. The batsman takes his eyes off the rising delivery. He is hustled for pace. He has an awkward fend at it as the ball strikes the top glove, and loops in the air. Sarfraz moves to his right and snaps up the catch. 159/3

72.3 to Sami Aslam, Aslam holes out to Williamson at mid-off. Good chest-high grab. Good length and wide outside off, Aslam hacks at it with all his might, but can't clear Williamson. Hits it hard and flat. He falls nine short of what could have been a maiden Test hundred. 181/3
84.3 to Younis Khan, follows the outswinger and bouncer with a length-ball inswinger from wide of the crease. Younis was leaving, expecting the one that goes away. Terrific bowling from Southee. Younis simply pads up to it. Not given by umpire Ravi. New Zealand go for a review. Struck on the flap of the front pad, above the knee-roll. No need for Hotspot and RTS. Impact does not matter, Younis wasn't playing a shot. Height may have an issue? No, Younis has to go. Hitting top of off stump, according to projections. Umpire Ravi overturns his on-field call. Not a great birthday for Younis. This match tilting in the favour of New Zealand. 218/6
1953812.00924000
81.1 to Asad Shafiq, Henry and Henry get Shafiq. He falls for a ten-ball duck. Very full, angled in, and bends away. Shafiq closes his bat-face early, and aims to work it to the leg side, playing the incoming angle. The leading edge carries to Henry Nicholls at backward point, diving to his right and plucking a low catch. First wicket in this Test for Matt Henry after 34 overs. 204/5
20.145732.82925021
90.2 to Mohammad Amir, Amir nicks behind. Pakistan eight down. Amir bags a two-ball duck. Back of a length and moves away outside off, rears up at the batsman. Amir hops, hangs his bat out. Takes the outside edge near the shoulder of the bat. Edged behind to Watling, who reverse-cups his hands around the ball. 230/8
90.4 to Wahab Riaz, Two wickets in three balls for Wagner. New Zealand one away from 2-0. Wahab also bags a duck. Good length and leaves Wahab in the channel. He also has a waft, while on the move, and nicks it behind. 230/9
92.1 to Imran Khan, Wagner rips out the tail quickly. Excellent catch from Latham to his right, behind the body. NZ sweep the series 2-0. The celebrations begin in the NZ camp. It's all over for Pakistan. Wagner seals the deal with the short ball. Banged in on middle, Imran takes his eyes off the ball and fends it in the air. Latham snaps up a superb reflex catch, under the helmet at forward short leg. Debutant Rizwan is stranded. In hindsight, he shouldn't have taken the single at the start of the 91st over and exposed the tail to Wagner. 230/10
1624923.06602100
59.6 to Azhar Ali, Azhar has played on. Full tempter lobbed up wide outside off, Azhar is crease-bound as he throws his hands at a big cover drive. He only drags it back onto the off stump via a thick inside edge Will this wicket force Pakistan to re-calibrate their plans?. 131/1
67.4 to Babar Azam, Azam drags on, much like Azhar. Slower through the air, and very full outside off. Azam drives hard with no feet. Plays it onto the off stump off a thick inside edge. Santner is smart with his variations in pace. 159/2
1251711.41611000
89.5 to Sohail Khan, Sohail spoons a simple catch to extra cover. Pakistan seven down and are staring at a defeat. Full and outside off, does not come onto the batsman. Sohail drives loosely, plays early, does not bother to keep it down. Picks out Nicholls to perfection. Like target practice. Still 11.1 overs remaining. 229/7
