Profile

A nippy medium-pacer and useful lower order bat, Admire Manyumwa was a surprise pick for the third four-day game of Zimbabwe A's series against Bangladesh A in mid-2006 after just a handful of List A matches for a weakened Mashonaland side. But he made the most of his chance, claiming Shakib Al Hasan for his maiden first-class wicket and bowling the Zimbabweans to a seven-wicket win to draw the series as he picked up 5 for 43 in the second innings. He remained on the fringes of national selection, and was one of a group of players sent to Australia for a stint with the Australian Institute of Sport in 2009.
