Adam Dibble, a right-arm seam bowler from Exeter, played for Devon Under-15s and Under-17s as well as for Sidmouth in the Devon Premier League. His first Somerset appearance came for the second XI in 2008 and a year later he was awarded his first contract at Taunton. He was released in 2015.

He made his County Championship debut in July 2011 - nine wickets in an innings against Hampshire had demanded an opportunity - and won a place in Somerset's Champions League squad. Early in the 2012 season he showed his promise with 3 for 42 in the first innings against Warwickshire at Edgbaston. But his season was ruined by a knee injury and Injuries continued to dog him in the following three seasons, his career-best 4 for 52 in a List A fixture against Yorkshire at Taunton being a rare highlight.
