Having developed his skills as a youngster in Newcastle, Mark is now looking to establish himself in Sydney Grade Cricket with Manly. A law student at Newcastle Uni, Mark is a deep thinker about the game. A member of the 2001-02 NSW Under 19 Championship team and captained the NSW Under 17 team to the final in 2000-01.
