ICC World Cricket League Division One - Final

Ireland v Scotland

Ireland won by 6 wickets (with 31 balls remaining)

Good morning everyone and welcome to today's World Cup Cricket League final between Ireland and Scotland. I'm Callum Stewart, and I will bring you ball-by-ball commentary of the game live from Amstelveen, Holland.

Ireland reach the final unbeaten while the Scots managed to get here with just the one loss to Ireland, their two wicket victory over Afghanistan yesterday securing their place in the final. Ireland will be the favourites for today's game having dominated associate 50-over cricket recently but the Scots will know that if the play to their potential that they give the Irish a run for their money.

I have had a little look at the pitch, it's better than the tracks at Voorburg and Rotterdam yesterday but it was still have a slight favouritism towards the bowlers. We can expect to see some good pace from the seamers early on, but spin will play a major part in the game in the middle overs.

The match will be starting is just under an hours time (11.00 local, 9.00 GMT) and we will bring you toss and team news as we get it. The Irish are warming up with a rather competitive and enthusiastic game of touch rugby, while the Scots put their paces through a rigorous fitness circuit .

Ireland have won the toss and will field.

Team news.

Watts will be dissapointed to be out for 98 but it was a great innings in the heat where he run up all the Scottish runs in his partnerships. After an opening stand of 141 with Mommsen (80) there was a flurry of quick wickets for the Irish to bring them back in to the game. Captain Drummond was the only other Scot to get in to double figures with a rapid 30 off 25 balls and the Irish wickets were divided with two a piece for O'Brien, Johnston, Dockrell and Jones.

We will begin the run chase in about 40 minutes where Ireland will need 233 runs to become the World Cricket League 2010 champions. Do join us then but in the meantime do keep your e-mails coming in.

Andrew says "why on earth has Watts not been playing in the last 6 months?" referring to when he fell out of favour with the selection committee. He has certainly proved himself in this tournament so far with knocks of 46, 50, and now the star of the first innings with 98.
