Aroha had an exciting debut last season playing for Central Districts under 21 and Central Districts in the State Insurance Cup. Strong performances in these two competitions saw her selected for the North Island to play in the North v South series at Lincoln. Aroha was then selected for New Zealand 'A' and signalled her promise with a hard-hitting 92 off 66 balls against South Africa at Lincoln Green.
