24.3 to EJM Cowan, Roach has got him with the third ball back. Cowan asks for a delayed review. This is touch and go on those 15 seconds. Anyway, this is full again, swings in a little, beats his bat, which seems to have swung across a little, and half the ball hits him in line with off, which means we get an "on-field call" verdict. Cowan has to go, and Australia are a review down too. 65/2
32.3 to RT Ponting, dropped by Baugh, taken by Sammy. This one is either a brute or Ponting has made it look so. A bit of both. Wide of the crease, in-between length, around off, doesn't go in as much as the angle would suggest. Ponting is stuck on the crease, and is squared up, and plays a nothing push. The edge goes high to Baugh, who spills it, but Sammy is alert at first slip, and completes the rebound. Ponting stands his ground, questioning the catch, or possibly hoping something will save him, but he has to eventually go. 83/3
91.2 to MS Wade, Roach is on today. Lovely start for him. After the one that seamed in beating the inside edge, he gets one to leave the left-hand batsman. Beautiful line and length too. Just short of driving length, on off, making him play, and then leaving him. The edge is duly taken, and the catch completed low at first slip. 208/6
134.4 to BW Hilfenhaus, Bowled'im. No DRS here. This one nips back in from short of a length, from just outside off. Hits the thigh pad outside the line of leg, but the ricochet hits the stumps. 309/9
134.6 to MA Beer, Beer reviews now. He has been given out lbw as he has shuffled too far across. This is short of a length, nips in from outside off, Beer is across, his inside edge is beaten, and he is hit high on the pad, in front of middle and leg. Erasmus gives him out immediately, Beer reviews immediately. The replays show it to be hitting the top of leg, which means he is gone, and Roach gets five. 311/10
1662701.68834000
49179231.872458101
15.5 to DA Warner, Shilly is back with a bang. Makes him drive for the first time. Pitched up on off. Warner is on the walk a bit as he is not close to its pitch. Gets an edge, and Sammy swallows it at slip. 53/1
72.6 to SR Watson, Watson goes between 50 and 100 again. Sharp catch for Barath at short leg. Watson leaves the crease again, Shillingford pushes this in flatter and shorter of what Watto expects it to be. He ends up pushing bat and pad at it, and gets an inside edge edge onto the pad. The ball flies off the pad, and Barath finishes a good reflex catch over the height of his shoulder. 178/5
131.1 to JL Pattinson, after one time, it is two time. They have waited hours for one edge, but like buses two have followed each other. Both set batsmen gone. Shilly bowls a slow offbreak on middle and leg, Patto's bat turns early, and it lobs off the leading edge. They nearly make a meal of it as nobody calls for it. Barath has takes a few steps back from silly point to catch, but hang on. Bravo moves in late from cover, and takes the catch. Barath is wondering where the ball is. All's well, though. 297/8
2063221.60982000
65.1 to MJ Clarke, short, long hop, Clarke has hooked him straight down deep square leg. What a bowling change. Faz Mohammed goes: "Michael Clarke... drowning in honey." It's the offies' trick. Bowled Deonarine, caught Shillingford. Clarke gets low down because of the low bounce in the pitch, and pulls this. Slight top edge, and Shillingford accepts delightfully. Clarke can't believe this. Music goes wild at the Oval. 167/4
130.2 to MEK Hussey, a most unHussey-like dismissal. This is soft, but West Indies have deserved some luck. Just an innocuous little length ball outside off, Hussey pushes at it, slightly loosely, and hits it waist high to short extra cover. Deonarine has broken yet another partnership, and Hussey is cross with himself. 297/7

12.4 to AB Barath, lovely spin bowling. Barath is dead plumb. He has followed that slow teasing spinning delivery up with an arm ball. Barath is caught back. The ball pitches on a length, just outside off, turns in with the arm, and hits him deep inside the crease, in front of off. What was that line? Couldn't get plumber if he was working with pipes. 26/2
104.4 to CS Baugh, Review already. Baugh is sweeping, which has often led to his demise. This is on a length, pitched in front of leg, straightens, beats the shot, and hits him in front of leg. The projection shows this would have hit the leg stump, and Baugh has to go after having been given not-out originally. 257/10
1643912.43786000
3.3 to KC Brathwaite, He is gone. Is that consecutive ducks? Or did he score in the second innings in Barbados? Anyway he is going to review it. This is another beauty. I'll tell you why. He has been beating the outside edge so often that KB is moving far too across to cover that away movement. And here Hilfenhaus slips in an outswinger that starts a touch straighter, and beats the inside edge this time. Pitches middle and leg, and straightens enough to be clipping the leg bail. Aggressive start for Australia. 0/1
2996852.341428000
87.1 to N Deonarine, Lyon has struck first ball. Another bowling change works for Clarke. This is against the run of play, but also perhaps Deonarine got a bit too confident. This is slightly adventurous. He sees a length ball around off, and drives at it. Only to realise the ball is shorter than that, and he can't reach it, thus dragging the back foot out. The ball turns appreciably, and past the bat. Wade is sharp with the stumping despite the extra bounce. A valuable hand from ND, a deserved wicket for Lyon, and a deserved stumping for Wade too, who has dived all over the place yesterday and today. 230/5
89.6 to S Chanderpaul, Lyon has two in two overs. And there are no reviews left. Not that it would have made a major difference. Shiv has missed out on a century here. Natural variation for Lyon as this one doesn't turn as much as it has been. Shiv presses forward to a length ball on off, plays for the turn, and it turns ever so slightly and hits him plumb in front, beating the inside edge. 231/6
91.4 to DJG Sammy, o captain, my captain. What have you done, Darren Sammy? Three men on the leg-side boundary, and he still takes that field on. Shimmies down the track, not quite to the pitch of it, and ends up lofting it straight down Hussey's throat at long-on. He is disgusted with himself, and keeps shaking his head all the way back. 237/7
93.3 to S Shillingford, Four in four overs for Lyon. Flatter, quicker, turning in, Shilly is groping forward, gets an inside edge onto the pad, Cowan is full-stretch at short leg to take the catch. 241/8
99.1 to KAJ Roach, Caught down the leg side. Second Michelle for Lyon in Tests, and what a turnaround. This one is short of a length, and turns sharply across him. Wade doesn't even know he has edged it, but he seems to have done so faintly. Lyon appeals, Ian Gould raises the finger. Roach doesn't look happy, but he has no reviews left. And even on review, this decision would have stayed. Front shot suggests an edge, the side one suggests a touch of the pad. Can't be considered evidence enough t change the decision. 249/9
1124013.63546004
15.1 to KOA Powell, And he strikes first ball. What a day for Patto. Nearly gets his new top-score, and then an lbw first ball. Although my gut reaction is, this is pitched outside leg. Powell doesn't review it, though. Slightly short of a length, straightens just a little, and hits him in front of leg. There is every chance this has pitched outside leg, because it hasn't really swung. Powell thinks otherwise. The replays show it to be pitching just outside. Had he reviewed, Powell would have been saved. 38/3
611913.16261010
42.5 to DM Bravo, Don't shake Clarke's hand, whatever you do, you might turn to gold. He has introduced Hussey before Watson, and lo he has produced the wicket. Lovely delivery. Not sure if it is planned thus, but the end product is a gem. This is shaping up to be an outswinger, pitches short of a length, in front of leg, and then instead of going with the swing, it seams away a little. Bravo is squared up, and is hit on the back leg, in front of middle and off. Bravo reviews it, more in hope than anything, but gets the dreaded marching orders for the second time. 100/4

39.5 to RT Ponting, Ponting has picked out deep backward square leg to perfection. Eve if Powell had his feet tied to each other, he wouldn't have had trouble catching this. This is not a wasted bouncer. Not excessively short, this rises up between shoulder high, just outside off, Ponting hooks, gets the top half of the bat, and Powell doesn't have to move an inch. Edwards finally gets a wicket. Everybody knows he has deserved and earned this. 93/4
23.545512.301106000
61.5 to NM Lyon, he gets the wicket with another topspinner. Lyon sweeps again, the ball hurries on, doesn't turn, gets a soft top edge, which Sammy collects running towards backward short leg. 160/8
1844152.27831001
10.2 to DA Warner, and Roach strikes immediately. Bravo takes another slip catch. Length ball, pretty quick, angling in, but not as much as Warner expects, and the edge goes low to Bravo at slip. Neatly taken. 26/1
10.5 to SR Watson, Timbah! Length ball, stays a little low, and has bowled Watson. Roach is on fire here. Comes back in a little, Watson drives, but he has completely missed the line here. The off stump is out of the ground. All of a sudden 80 for 2 doesn't look that bad. 26/2
24.5 to EJM Cowan, Australia reviewing now, but I have got a feeling they are wasting it. Roach's round-the-stumps angle is not that wide, and this is really full too. Half-volley, middle and off, Cowan plays across it, misses, is hit in front of middle. Dead for all money. He has a long chat with Ponting, and then asks for the review. So both sides have wasted a review each in this over, but more importantly Roach has taken three out of three. 57/3
58.3 to MEK Hussey, Roach reaches nine for the match. Short and wide, Hussey looks to late-cut this, the ball hits the seam, moves in and stays low, and he ends up dragging it on. 145/6
58.6 to BW Hilfenhaus, Roach becomes the first West Indies bowler since 2005 to take 10 wickets in a Test. And lovely bowling to the tail. Full, fast, aimed at off. Hilfy has been beaten by pace before, and is backing away a little. Covering the line is the last thing on his mind right now. And Roach hits timbah. Off stump gone for a walk. Two Michelles For Kemar. Also the first 10-for for a WI bowler against Australia since His Highness Curtly took 10 in Adelaide in 1993. 149/7
801712.12381011
42.1 to MJ Clarke, Captain to captain, and a superb catch is produced. High-fives all around. West Indies keep pushing Australia back. Length ball on off. Stops at Clarke. Early into the push. Lobbed back well to Sammy's right in his follow through. Sammy sticks the arm, and times the sticking-out to perfection. That's a pluck and a half. 95/5

1.4 to KOA Powell, And will he have to walk onto the park now? Powell has been given out lbw, but he has reviewed, another waste for mine. This is an outswinger, not angling across. Pitches middle and off, swings back in, hits him in front of middle, and he has to go. Seriously they need a DRS coach. 6/1
3.5 to AB Barath, what a ripper from Hilfenhaus. This outswinger is a real thing of beauty. Short of a driving length, in front off, Barath has to play at this. The ball swings just enough to take the edge through to first slip. 13/2
