It will be Andre Russell to kick off proceedings... correction folks, it will be Krishmar Santokie to open with the new ball

The West Indies' players are already out in force, with both Bangladeshi openers raring to go

shawn: "How could the best fast bowler of the CPL (Rampaul)not make the team..." Possibly Shawn because the team would like to rest him, especially with the Test series starting early next month?

7.55pm We are just minutes away now. What would be a good score for Bangladesh to post on this track? Mind you, the boundaries are off the shorter variety...

anayat ullah: "Can Nasir Hossain bat at no #4 Today ? "

Tawhidhasan: "On my way to office and not sure if I can focus on my work. Besh wishes for the tigers; a desperate Bangladeshi fan from Malaysia."

Andre Wellingto: "I hope to see Santokie taking a 5for this evening!! :)"

Sanzidul: "Its Surprising to see Bangladesh not giving anymore chances to Taskin Ahmed. Maybe he will gain his spot back against Zimbabwe later this year. "

7.50pm Time for the West Indies' team changes, and we have a couple as Dwayne Smith, coming off excellent campaigns in both the IPL and CPL, will open, with Kirk Edwards losing his place. Andre Russell has also been selected into the squad, in place of Jason Holder, while Sheldon Cottrell and Krishmar Santokie (who was the second-highest wicket-taker in the CPL this year) come in for Kemar Roach and Ravi Rampaul. Darren Sammy is captaining the team as he is the T20 captain for the West Indies.

Teleklatz: "Forget about winning. It's time for self redemption. Go and find our identity BD. "

7.45pm Some team news to share as Bangladesh have slotted in Mithun Ali in place of Imrul Kayes, who was dropped after a poor showing in the ODIs, lower down the order, while Rubel Hossain makes an appearance on the tour, with Mashrafe Mortaza being rested.

Sanzidul : "Bangladesh should give chances to the youngsters. Someone like Mithun , Taijul , Taskin. This will really help Bangladesh team to build a team that can cause some upsets in the upcoming world cup."

Tauqir: "Since Bangladesh is batting first , all Gayle fans would like Narine , Santokie, Benn to be rested :)"

Trinidad Jase: "Hoping for at least a better all-round game from Bangladesh tonight. "cause both teams need all the improvements they can make. Thinking a 5-match ODI series would have been much more beneficial than having a one off T20. :-) "

Mushfique: "It's 5:45 am in the morning in Bangladesh and I'm awake all night, just in case I miss the alarm. That's how desperate I am to see my team win a match! Been a long wait, hope today is our day!"

Donald: "With Samuel Badree out, interested on seeing how the Windies perform with his guaranteed 4 economical overs. Who will step up to the plate, er crease?"

Michael: "Expecting a comfortable Windies victory tonight, nearly the whole squad were in good nick in the recent CPL and BD are shot of confidence a without their best player"

Toss - Bangladesh won the toss and have elected to bat first

Sanzidul : "If Bangladesh wants to win this match they really need to push there selfs to 200%. A win here for Bangladesh will definitely give confidence to the Bangladesh. "

javed : "we have seen two upsets yesterday , and we are again expecting to see the same here. can bd make it for us as south africa and india have done it to win their match easily, i am always doubtful because of not having the main all rounder in bd side. yes i am talking about shakib ul hasan. there is only one chance left that bd bats first and score more than 180 and put pressure on the west indies."

Just a couple of minutes away from the toss.. what would you choose to do?

Michael: "Desperately trying to stay awake at half midnight in England to watch this. Please let WI bat first so gaylestorm can send me to sleep with some sixes "

Ihsaan: "Despite a dismal year hoping for Bangladesh to turn the corner today. Supporting them all the way from London its 1am in the morning, and I have a cricket cup final to play in tomorrow. Want the team to show the commitment I am."

7.25pm Mohammad Isam strikes again with a wonderful piece, this time with a focus on Al-Amin Hossain, who has impressed with his pace and attitude of late, and ended up finishing as the top wicket-taker for the recently concluded ODI series. Isam charts back the young bowler's progression, and what his recent T20 exploits might bring to the team.

Noble: "We BD fan r eagerly waiting for a just one win :( I wish and believe one win can change our team. I am waiting to see our cricketers in action in this early morning with my sleepy eyes. I hope this time I won't be disappointed. Go tigers.. nail it!"

7.20pm Haven't had a chance to absorb today's match preview? No fear as you can find a link here. Definitely a good read as Mohammad Isam looks at team changes and what can be expected come match time.

Praveen : "Without marlon Samuels west indies will never move to no 1 position in 20/20 as well as 50/50 marlon is a warrior fir wi and those people who haven't selected him are foolish "

7.15pm Hello and welcome to this one-off T20 matchup between hosts West Indies and Bangladesh. Bangladesh enter the series on the back of three losses on the trot, and will hope to get some kind of closure as they look for a win today.
