It is the longest by an Indian, beating the 407 that Mithali Raj played against England in Taunton in 2002. England's Janette Brittin faced 490 balls for her 146 against Australia in 1998, which are the most faced by a batsman in Women's Tests.
9-85 Bowling figures for Harmanpreet Kaur in this Test, the second-best in a match for India after the 10 for 78 taken by Jhulan Goswami in Taunton in 2006. Harmanpreet's 5 for 44 in South Africa's first innings is the 14th five-wicket haul by an Indian bowler in Women's Tests.
