4.6 to M Vijay, fends a short ball to gully! Terrific delivery from Anderson, 82mph/132kph, a short delivery on off stump, Vijay can't get out of the line this time and the ball loops off the glove for a simple catch. Not played well by Vijay. Anderson is pumped!. 22/2
66.4 to CA Pujara, he's gone now! The concentration snaps, chases a shorter, wider delivery and gets a thick top edge which Bairstow takes to his right. Out-of-character shot.. 248/3
88.3 to AM Rahane, beautiful bowling from Anderson. This ball is swinging, and Anderson is making it talk. Rahane pushes at a wide ball. No need to play it. Even if he middles it, he is not getting runs. Ends up edging it as it swings away. The new ball has worked. 316/4
1624913.06717000
1.5 to KL Rahul, edged, taken at third slip! On a good length, touch of extra bounce, Rahul coming forward to a ball he could have left and the edge carries nicely to Stokes at third slip who takes it moving to his left. A brief check for the no-ball, but Broad is fine. 6/1
2047313.658410010
123.5 to R Ashwin, and he's got him now! Pushed back by the short deliveries, then Stokes hangs one outside off - perhaps a hint of shape away - Ashwin chases it without any footwork and a thin edge. Some reward for Stokes' efforts. 427/8
1214503.75443100
34.4211023.171405200
127.6 to J Yadav, and he's done his job...tossed up outside off, Jayant's eyes light up with the option of a slog-sweep, but he gets a big top edge which loops into the off side and is taken at point. 440/9
129.4 to UT Yadav, picks out deep midwicket...that ends the fun. He hit that so sweetly, but didn't quite get the placement and Moeen was able to snaffle it nicely near the boundary. 455/10
2519833.9210013000
100.3 to V Kohli, holds the catch this time! Dramatic two deliveries for Stokes at slip. This is full outside off, Kohli goes for the drive and it travels very quickly to Stokes - a tougher grab than the previous delivery. He snaffles it, then lets out a frustrated celebration. That's how to make amends.. 351/5
104.2 to WP Saha, given after a long long wait. Ashwin and Saha have a chat, and they will review this. My word, what a long delay to give this decision. Not good signs for England at any rate. This one has turned a long way from well outside off to hit him right in front and on the back foot and deep inside the crease. India have enough time to finish a leg-bye by the time Dharmasena raises his fingers. What's more teasing is, he even makes a disapproving face before finally - finally - giving him out. Replays show he is right. All reds. Pitching well outside off, hitting him in front of middle and because there isn't a long way to go, hitting leg. 363/6
104.4 to RA Jadeja, oh Moeen Ali strikes again. yet again this is the natural variation. India are losing wickets, but they won't mind bowling on this later in the day. The seam pointing towards gully on this offbreak. Jadeja plays for the turn because there is no way to tell this won't turn. The ball pitches on off, and just goes on with the angle. Hit in front. Dharmasena takes much less time than he did with the earlier call. This is how NZ were undone. This is how Australia were undone in Sri Lanka. This is how Jadeja is undone for now. Hang on. This is missing leg. But they don't review it. Ashwin sends him on his way too. The Moeen-Dharma-DRS show continues. 363/7

2.3 to AN Cook, he has broken the stump into two. What a sensational start. Beauty from Shami. They say top of off, he has burst through the off stump. That's a peach. This is pitched on off, Cook expects it to angle away, but the ball seams back in sharply to hit the off stump. Absolutely sensational bowling from Shami. Rahane retrieves the half of the stump that has flown towards short third man. 4/1
1825613.11788000
78.3 to JM Bairstow, just before the new ball Yadav strikes with a full ball. It's a straight ball, and Bairstow has played all around it. That same old problem with Bairstow when he is in he tends to look to work straight balls into the leg side. He does the same here. Although he is also beaten by the pace a touch. What makes it worse is that Bairstow hits his boot, which doesn't allow him a free flow of the bat. The ball hits his pad and then the stumps. A real bonus for India at the end of a session that has been hard work for them. 190/6
29105711.961396000
95.1 to ZS Ansari, given lbw! Playing round a very full ball, takes the back leg. Eventually Ansari calls for the review. Looks as though it misses the inside edge. Takes front pad, then back pad. So two noises. No edge. Hits in line with off stump and smashing middle.. 234/8
29.566752.241428000
27.3 to BM Duckett, cleaned up this time! And in what is already familiar style. It seemed only a matter of time. Duckett standing on leg stump, leaving his stumps exposed, and Ashwin does him like a kipper. Drifted into middle and leg, then gripped enough to turn past the outside edge and into middle stump - which just shows what line Duckett was playing. The Bakerloo, while the ball went down the Piccadilly. 72/3
31.5 to JE Root, oh my goodness! He's picked out long-off...who says he shouldn't be there. That's a horrid moment for Root. Came down the pitch, didn't quite get to the pitch, but went through with the shot and he miscues it to long-off. He was keen to not let Ashwin settle, but England were already in trouble. A rare misjudgement of the moment from Root. 79/4
90.4 to BA Stokes, and he's gone! Ashwin strikes. But Stokes has called for the review. He's been given lbw, but it was also caught at silly point. So he could be out either way. Third umpire taking a lot time in deciding if there's bat involved. The bat clips the pad as well. Third umpire says it's not conclusive for bat, but it's three reds for lbw so it won't matter. He's lbw. The ball slid on from round the wicket, squeezed past the inside edge and was very adjacent. 225/7
102.4 to SCJ Broad, Dharmasena has taken at eternity to give this, and Broad doesn't have a review he can use. This looks leg side to me. This is short of a length, doesn't turn, beats Broad's inside edge because it doesn't turn, and has hit him in front of leg, I think. Definitely worth a review, but the two men before Broad have wasted the reviews. 255/9
102.5 to JM Anderson, Ashwin has got Anderson first ball. He'll be on hat-trick in the second innings. Ashwin has another five-for. India have an option to enforce the follow-on, but they won't do it. Anderson goes back to defend a length ball, but it doesn't turn and catches him on the back foot and dead plumb. 255/10
1233813.16535000
34.2 to MM Ali, down the wicket to defend. Jayant wants a review. They ask for a review. Moeen down the wicket with no intention of hitting it. The pad comes in the way. Definitely pad first. Ball pitches off, hits him middle and the projection shows it to be hitting leg. What a sensational review from Jayant Yadav on debut. I thought it would return umpire's call on leg stump, but Jayant had it spot on. 80/5

16.5 to CA Pujara, what a ball! Cleans him up. That is a ripper from Anderson. Sharp late swing, darts between bat and pad then knocks back middle stump. Early reverse? Lovely bowling, balls outside off followed by the change up.. 40/3
1453342.35654000
8.3 to M Vijay, they have gone up for two things here, lbw and caught! Given not out on the field by Rod Tucker and England review. The ball seamed back from a good length, Vijay pressing forward and he's got an edge onto his pad here. The ball looped behind square was taken by gully diving forward. Neat catch by Root. Broad has something to smile about. 16/1
10.1 to KL Rahul, beats the outside edge...well, it brings an appeal for caught behind! Given not out on field. And they've gone for the review. Instigated by Hameed at short leg who looked convinced. And there's a mark on Ultra Edge. This will be overturned! Good work from Hameed. Good length, in the channel outside off, Rahul pressed forward and got a thin scratch. 17/2
38.5 to AM Rahane, taken at slip! Back of a length outside off, some extra bounce, and Rahane somewhat softly steers it to Cook. Another leg-cutter from Broad. 117/4
42.1 to R Ashwin, and he's gone this time! Leans forward and pushes away from his body, gets a thin edge through to the keeper. Another leg-cutter in what has been another outstanding spell from Broad. 127/5
2438243.411036300
43.1 to WP Saha, the googly, and it's given lbw! Saha has called for the review. There's no edge, but there is some extra bounce. Hits him on the knee roll. Height the issue. It's shaving leg stump near the top. Nice piece of bowling from Rashid. 130/6
47.1 to V Kohli, what a screamer. Superman stuff from Stokes. Save this for the highlight reel. Save this for cold mornings when you don't feel like playing cricket. Watch this catch. You will want to go out. It would have needed something special to end a special Kohli innings anyway. This is a flighted legbreak, Kohli drives hard at it. This is a full-blooded drive, not some soft edge when pushing at a ball. The edge flies wide of Stokes who leaves ground, goes parallel to it, and plucks this one-handed and behind his body. You won't see many better catches than this in the slips. 151/7
51.5 to RA Jadeja, Jadeja sees this over his eye line and he swings again. Some overs ago he successfully took the man on the fence, but this time he finds deep midwicket who doesn't have to move much. Not a googly, but the ball just doesn't turn and goes high off the toe of the bat. 162/8
53.3 to UT Yadav, caught in the armpit. This is a really full ball. Can even take this on the full, but Yadav is crease bound and also plays across its line. Which means the ball has time to turn and take the edge. Good bounce on it, and it settles in Bairstow's armpit. 162/9
703404.85265010
3.11912.84130000
63.1 to Mohammed Shami, and he seems to have struck first ball. Shami is beaten on the outside edge as he plays for an offbreak. The back foot slides to the crease. Bairstow stumps him. Caught on the crease. Not behind it. Shami is out. 204/10

86.6 to JE Root, think this is going down and it has been reviewed after Root has been given out. This seems to be swinging too much but the Hawkeye knows better. Root is on the crease as this swings in late, and what do you know, this is shown hitting flush. Lovely over from Shami, the cherry on the top being this full inswinger that has gone late and has gone with the shine. Good decision from Tucker too. Surely that is the Test?. 115/6
90.4 to AU Rashid, one more for Shami. Short ball outside off, Rashid looks to ramp this over the slip, and gets a faint top edge. Rightly called on the field by umpire Tucker. 129/7
83801.00400000
30115231.731537000
50.2 to H Hameed, a shooter gets Ashwin the wicket. This is like Hooper getting Hussain. Hameed is lbw too. Can't do anything about these. Offbrreak, on a length, outside off, and it just doesn't leave the ground. Squeezes under the toe and strikes him flush in front. If it hadn't hit the pad, it would have bounced twice. Habeeb has seen off 144 balls nonetheless. Well played. 75/1
64.5 to BM Duckett, and he's gone! Duckett's problems continue. He went for the aggressive option, another sweep, there was a touch of extra bounce from the over-spin, it takes the glove into the thigh pad and loops up to offer Saha a simple catch. 92/3
94.3 to ZS Ansari, cleaned up! Simple as that, really. A touch flatter and quicker, then it gripped. Ansari playing back, spins from outside leg and hammers middle. Kept a bit low, too. Tough.. 143/8
34143521.021761000
59.2 to AN Cook, Jadeja has struck in the last over. Cook has reviewed it. There is not bat. I am afraid that is plumb. Jadeja you beauty. He has bowled that one big ball that India needed. That is stumps. England have overnight to decide whether they send Duckett in next. India have persisted. Jadeja has been around that off stump, pitching in the rough, getting turn, sometimes now. This is on a length, outside off, Cook is drawn across, and he plays a little across this as opposed to with a straight bat. The ball turns past his inside edge and hits him in front of off. The moment the replays show he has not hit it, you know he is gone. Point of impact on off, hitting the leg stump. India are rejuvenated just before stumps. 87/2
73.6 to MM Ali, the probing line pays off, a thick inside edge loops to backward short leg! Jadeja finds one of the footmarks, it bounces and grips to take the shoulder of the bat. A gentle catch for Kohli this time, around the corner. 101/4
11.343032.60576000
85.4 to BA Stokes, that's a peach. J Yadav gets one of the big three wickets that India are after. Oh this is a beauty. This is a quicker delivery and flatter trajectory, which sends Stokes back instinctively. The ball is still pitched full enough, though. It also drifts in to make him play the middle-and-off line. Upon pitching the ball turns sharply, and goes past the outside edge to knock back the off stump. 115/5
97.2 to SCJ Broad, eventually he is given lbw! Sweeping at a very full delivery. Kumar Dharmsena takes his time, then raises the finger. Broad has reviewed. Doesn't look like an edge. Yeah, missed the bat. And it's smashing off stump.. 158/9
97.3 to JM Anderson, we have another review. This time by India. Anderson given not out as this strikes the pad. No edge involved. Perhaps not straightening quite enough. We shall see. It's hitting enough of leg stump to be three reds and that's it! Anderson bags a king pair to end the Test. Jayant closes it with two in two balls. 158/10
