2.10 pm Kemar Roach is warming up his shoulder, Nasir Jamshed to take strike. He has Ahmed Shehzad for company to walk this tightrope

Thanks Purohit. Hello and welcome back. Bravos + Pollard + some extras have given a challenging target. Still a few minutes to go for the chase.. The Professor seems to have lost his lecture notes - he is going through a not-so-productive period lately..Will he stand up today?

"@Adeel.. Implying your "Afridi once-in-three-years performance" implies for 30 man of the matches Afridi had been playing for ninety years. Illogical approximation. Remember T20 WC 2009? My money is on Afridi today too," Awais, who seems to be a master of cricket history, pulls out a fact (although four years old) to defend Afridi

Umar Akmal    22* (30b 2x4)      SP Narine    9-1-24-2

43.1

Narine to Wahab Riaz, OUT, Too good for Wahab, it has squeezed in from the little available space and has knocked the leg stump. That's wicket no. 3 for Narine! Wahab was shaping for the sweep, but is too late to bring his bat down to a quick missile fired in by Narine. The ball gets under his bat and pad before he can kneel down, strikes his stumps, the batsman slips and is left mourning on the floor

Narine to Saeed Ajmal, OUT, caught at slip! Ajmal gets the taste of his own medicine! It was full on off and much like me, Ajmal had no idea which way this was going. It takes the outside edge and Sammy takes a good sharp low catch at first slip

Saeed Ajmal c Sammy b Narine 1 (2m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Narine has four now.. Two ball remaining.. Can he get a pfieffer? Two slips in place

Five overs, 60 to go.. All dependent on Asad Ali.. Dwayne Bravo comes on from round the wicket

Here's another Asad: "In times like these I miss the likes of Tanvir and Gul"

45.1

DJ Bravo to Umar Akmal, 1 run, he bowls a full delivery outside off, the batsman drives it to long-off for a single

45.5

DJ Bravo to Umar Akmal, 1 run, full delivery on off stump, the batsman drives it firmly to long off

Awais: "the Pakistan think tank should realize now that in no way we can chase targets by that same approach of starting slow to save wickets (which they still don't do spite of playing slow) and leaving it for the lower order sloggers and tailenders to finish. They need to brave and aggressive from very first ball!"

45.6

DJ Bravo to Asad Ali, no run, goes for the big slog, but he is too early as the ball arrives a little after he is done with the swing.

End of over 46 (3 runs) Pakistan 176/8 (57 runs required from 24 balls, RR: 3.82, RRR: 14.25)
Asad Ali    2* (8b)      DJ Bravo    1-0-3-0
Umar Akmal    31* (37b 2x4)      KA Pollard    5-0-22-1

sri: "Fuloria, are you reverse jinxing or are you not really a big fan of young umar? "All dependent on Asad Ali.." "I pin my hopes on Wahab Riaz"" -- Sri, Umar Akmal needs someone at the other end..

46.1

Pollard to Umar Akmal, no run, he bowls a full delivery on the stumps, the batsman digs it out to midwicket

Pollard to Umar Akmal, FOUR, now he finds a boundary with a flat batter forceful swat through cover, there was no one in the deep

46.3

Pollard to Umar Akmal, FOUR, more smart stuff from Umar. He was expecting a full delivery, goes down on his knee and ramps it fine on the leg side

46.4

Asad Ali    2* (9b)      KA Pollard    6-0-35-1

Round the wicket

47.1

DJ Bravo to Umar Akmal, no run, he gets his front leg out of the way and tries to whack the slower delivery, but ends up dragging it to square leg

47.2

DJ Bravo to Umar Akmal, no run, he moves outside leg stump and punches the length delivery to off, but he finds the man at cover

Kashif Rashid: "Pakistan is missing the trick here.. The batting order is all wrong which leaves too much to get in the end. Your top three batsmen should be in the top four which means that Nasir, Misbah and Umer Akmal should be there. Hafeez and Asad should come after. Umer is comfortable at an 80 strikerate but he always has more to get. He needs to go up the order so that there is less to get later. Simple"

47.3

DJ Bravo to Umar Akmal, SIX, oh wow! He charges out and throws the kitchen sink at this length delivery, whacks it very high over deep midwicket. Holder at the boundary gets a hand to it, but parries it over.. That's his half-century as well

47.4

DJ Bravo to Umar Akmal, OUT, oh no, he has fallen immediately after getting to his landmark! And with that, Pakistan have lost their final hope. He goes after a length delivery, but holes out at long-off

Umar Akmal c Samuels b DJ Bravo 50 (61m 46b 5x4 1x6) SR: 108.69

47.5

DJ Bravo to Asad Ali, OUT, It's game over! Asad Ali, with not much left, comes down the pitch and gives it all with a heave, but only gets it as far as Pollard at deep midwicket

Asad Ali c Pollard b DJ Bravo 2 (18m 10b 0x4 0x6) SR: 20.00

West Indies have found a way to square the series after being blinded in the first ODI by the Afridi show. Pakistan didn't lose any wickets upfront unlike the first ODI, but their start was slow as the West Indian pacers exerted tremendous control. But just when you thought they were opening up, they started losing wickets. Jamshed survived a few chances on his way to a half-century, but it was a laboured effort and apart from holding one end, didn't really do much for the team. The chase was in control however till Jamshed and Misbah were around, but then came Narine, almost unplayable today. He took Hafeez and Afridi plus two other bonus wickets.

Haseeb Elahi: "Good day for the Windies. They've now got the series level. Good come back by the home team. And unfortunately Pakistan has another complete middle order disaster today!"

DP: "Its interesting to note that the margin of victory is the same as the number of extras (38) given away by Pakistan.." ---- Well almost..

yasir: "Also same number of run margin PAK women team won today... 38 it is"
