Zimbabwe in West Indies ODI Series - 2nd ODI

West Indies v Zimbabwe

West Indies won by 7 wickets (with 6 balls remaining)

11.1

Narine to Chibhabha, OUT, round the wicket, drifting across, gripped and bowled 'im! Narine makes the breakthrough, it wasn't his most threatening delivery ever bowled but Chibhabha had been getting visibly bogged down, he tried to drive but wasn't to the pitch and he actually played inside the line, the ball skidding on to peg back off stump

CJ Chibhabha b Narine 11 (46m 24b 1x4 0x6) SR: 45.83

Zimbabwe 39/1   V Sibanda 27* (43b 4x4)   SP Narine 1.1-0-3-1

18.2

DJ Bravo to Sibanda, OUT, got him, cleaned bowled, Sibanda cleaned up! It was full and straight, nothing more complex than that but it seemed to befuddle Sibanda, who'd looked so good, he played around it and pop went the bails

V Sibanda b DJ Bravo 51 (80m 63b 6x4 1x6) SR: 80.95

Zimbabwe 76/2   H Masakadza 12* (22b 1x4)   DJ Bravo 0.2-0-0-1

18.4

DJ Bravo to Taylor, OUT, and another, two in three balls, Taylor pinned in front! Decides not to review and that was probably wise (though how often does the captain take that route?) ... It was a fullish length ball, drifting back in with the arm, skidded on a little and Taylor played down the wrong line, hit on the back leg in front of off and that would have tipped the cap of leg

BRM Taylor lbw b DJ Bravo 0 (2m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Zimbabwe 76/3   H Masakadza 12* (22b 1x4)   DJ Bravo 0.4-0-0-2

40.3

DJ Bravo to Masakadza, OUT, Bravo breaks through! A tame dismissal after what has been a good knock. Masakadza was looking to hurry things along, and made room as Bravo looped down a slow offcutter. The barrel-chested batsman hoicked across the line at it, and a swirling top edge was easily held by Narine running in from third man. This was turning into a really useful stand for the Zimbabweans.

H Masakadza c Narine b DJ Bravo 60 (124m 84b 2x4 2x6) SR: 71.42

Zimbabwe 186/4   CR Ervine 55* (69b 5x4 1x6)   DJ Bravo 6.3-1-22-3

44.6

Roach to Waller, OUT, gone this time! A little too cute from Waller. He made room and was aiming to run the ball through the vacant slip region, but it was another slower one and he was at it too soon. The ball crept past him and rattled the stumps. The celebration from Roach isn't the most expressive.

MN Waller b Roach 26 (21m 16b 1x4 2x6) SR: 162.50

Zimbabwe 232/5   CR Ervine 74* (81b 6x4 2x6)   KAJ Roach 9-1-59-1

45.4

DJ Bravo to Ervine, OUT, gone! Bravo strikes, and Zimbabwe suffer a double blow. Bravo fired this one down full and fast, and in fact the ball was a full toss aimed right at the middle of the stumps. Ervine backed away and swung, but his bat flashed over the ball and his stumps were disturbed. Bravo has his fourth, and West Indies are right back into the game. Zimbabwe don't have a lot of firepower in their lower middle order.

CR Ervine b DJ Bravo 80 (130m 85b 6x4 3x6) SR: 94.11

Zimbabwe 241/6   RW Chakabva 0* (0b)   DJ Bravo 8.4-1-36-4

49.1

DJ Bravo to Chakabva, OUT, Bravo has five! Chakabva attempts to repeat the big shot from the last over, but he slices too far underneath it and Pollard holds onto a steepler. Pollard called for it straight away, and settled underneath the ball as it plummeted down. The Zimbabweans had to go for everything in this final over, but Chakabva's efforts will have been appreciated by his team.

RW Chakabva c Pollard b DJ Bravo 15 (21m 11b 0x4 1x6) SR: 136.36

Zimbabwe 268/7   P Utseya 8* (10b)   DJ Bravo 9.1-1-38-5

49.5

DJ Bravo to Jarvis, OUT, six for Bravo! Yet another slower delivery, and Jarvis made to room to try to carve the ball over cover. He didn't get close to timing it, however, tapping a limp catch straight to Dwayne's younger brother Darren.

KM Jarvis c DM Bravo b DJ Bravo 1 (3m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Zimbabwe 271/8   P Utseya 10* (12b)   DJ Bravo 9.5-1-41-6
