[1999-2000 Season] Speculation, in the past year, over who would be back-up wicketkeeper to Adam Parore has been laid to rest. The selectors finally showed their hand in the selection of Martyn Croy for the CLEAR Black Caps squad to contest the mid-1999 test series in England. Croy got the nod over Robbie Hart (Northern Knights) and Gareth Hopkins (Canterbury) for the quality of his glove-work.
