†WEST INDIES v PAKISTAN 1981-82

At Sydney, January 12. West Indies won by seven wickets. Pakistan were handicapped by the absence of Mudassar, who was unwell, and of Sarfraz, who apparently felt he would be unable to see properly under the floodlights when wearing glasses. This was Pakistan's first game under the lights. Imran Khan's best innings of the tour enabled Pakistan to reach a modest of 191 for seven, but with Greenidge, Richards and Lloyd batting freely, West Indies won with almost eight overs to spare.

Man of the Match: C. G. Greenidge. Attendance: 10,995.
