Third One-day International

†WEST INDIES v INDIA 1982-83

At St George's, Grenada, April 7. West Indies won by seven wickets, thus clinching the three-match series. A public holiday was declared for the first international match played in Grenada and over 10,000 spectators crowded the picturesque ground overlooking St George's harbour. With the exception of Vengsarkar, the Indian batsmen could not find the inspiration they did in the previous one-day match, their total of 166 proving quite inadequate.
