80.5 to MN Samuels, that is a stunning catch from Kallis! Samuels sees one full and wide and went after it, the ball swung away from Samuels and got the thick outside edge of his expansive drive, the ball flew at rapid speed towards Kallis at second slip who took the catch over his head to the left and staggered backwards because of the momentum of the ball, and it wasn't a no ball this time, Steyn has his first wicket. 277/4 125.4 to JE Taylor, and he's made me take that back! That's the delivery he's been looking for all day. It's a full, fast yorker which angles into Taylor before swinging away and uprooting the off stump, the stump goes for a walk and Steyn loves it. 385/8 | ||||||||||

Morton gets on to the front foot a bit too early and tries to defend, the length is just a little bit short on off stump, the ball bounces a bit more and hits the outside edge high on the bat, it lobs up tamely to Prince at point who takes one of the easiest catches you can hope to get. 166/3 91.1 to DJ Bravo, caught after a collision! Bravo tried to close the face of the bat to a good length ball that was angling into him from outside off stump, he was a bit early on the one-legged flick and the leading edge went high in the air on the off side, Ntini went for the catch and so did Gibbs from gully, in the end Ntini caught it and bumped into Gibbs, who fell down, soon after, it could have easily been spilled but all's well that ends well for South Africa. 296/5 93.4 to D Ramdin, that's pretty unplayable and Ramdin gets an edge that's snapped up by Boucher, Ntini went wide of the crease once again and angled the ball into Ramdin, it pitched around off stump and straightened squaring Ramdin up, the ball kissed the outside edge of his back-foot defence and South Africa have their second wicket of the morning. 304/6 | ||||||||||

16.6 to D Ganga, South Africa have the breakthrough! Ganga had done an excellent job of leaving the wide ones alone, until now that is. He drove loosely away from his body at one that wasn't full enough to drive and got a thick edge through to Boucher who took an easy catch, relieved celebrations from the South Africans. 98/1 133.1 to S Chanderpaul, he's bowled him! And against the run of play! Nel angles the ball into the left-hander from round the wicket, the ball pitches on a good length around off stump, Chanderpaul gets drawn forward and defends down the wrong line, the ball straightens just enough to beat the bat and clip the top of off stump, outstanding ball, very similar to the one with which Zaheer bowled Ponting in Melbourne yesterday. 407/9 133.4 to FH Edwards, he's out this time, Nel bowls a short of a length delivery whch rises sharply on Edwards who fends at it and gets an outside edge to gully where Prince takes an easy catch. 408/10 | ||||||||||

What a perfect delivery, Powell angles the ball into Gibbs and pitches it on a good length, Gibbs moves forward to defend but the ball seams away from the right-hander and takes a thick outside edge through to Ramdin who accepts an easy catch. 1/1 13.1 to HM Amla, he strikes first ball! Powell bowls a perfectly-pitched yorker, Amla moves forward and tries to close the face of the bat, he's early on the shot and doesn't make contact, the middle stump lies uprooted a few milliseconds later. 63/4 25.3 to AG Prince, caught! Powell pitches the ball on a good length outside off stump, Prince plays away from his body and inside the line, the ball seams away from him off the pitch and the thick outside edge is comfortably taken by Morton at second slip. 96/5 | ||||||||||

8.5 to GC Smith, that's plumb! Taylor bowls a full ball but it's not quite a yorker, the ball swings into Smith who tries to close the face of his bat but misses, it hits him low on the front pad and umpire Tiffin raises his finger after a long hard look, that would have hit middle stump. 45/2 10.5 to JH Kallis, splendid catch! Kallis begins to fend at one outside off stump but decides to pull his bat out of the way at the last minute, it's a little too late for that and the ball hits the face of the bat and flies towards Bravo's right at third slip, he dives full length to his right and take the catch with both hands, outstanding effort which gives West Indies a massive wicket. 53/3 36.4 to MV Boucher, oh well caught, Powell! Boucher didn't face a lot this morning but decides to pull a short one, that hurries onto him, without much footwork and the resultant top-edge balloons wide of Ramdin and down towards fine leg, where Powell runs in from the ropes and dives forward to hold a very good catch, giving West Indies an early breakthrough. 129/6 | ||||||||||

54.5 to AB de Villiers, oh what a ball, he's castled him! de Villiers doesn't expect a delivery like that, as the ball pitches, straightens, and does enough to completely steamroll his off stump as he plays forward and misses all ends up. 172/7 58.5 to PL Harris, gone on the stroke of lunch! Harris gets back to a shortish delivery, in no real position to go for this shot however, and tries to force it off the back foot but ends up spooning a catch to Taylor, diving forward at mid-off. 181/8 60.3 to A Nel, quick strike after lunch, as Nel shimmies across the stumps and clips a fullish ball from middle and off straight to Ganga at mid-on, who takes a simple catch. 194/9 62.1 to DW Steyn, but not today! Steyn comes dancing down, Bravo sees him and pitches short, Steyn gets under it and gets a top-edge down to fine leg, Ramdin runs after it but its that man Powell who calls for it and takes another well-judged catch to bring out the end of South Africa's innings. 195/10 | ||||||||||

Harris gets Bravo, looking to go over the top, clipping a full delivery to Gibbs at mid-on, who takes an easy catch over his head shortly before stumps. 141/5 49.4 to DJG Sammy, another one bites the dust, as Harris traps Sammy in front of leg stump, after keeping it full and flat, it pitches full and straightens, Aleem Dar has no doubt about that one and raises the finger of fate in quick time. 144/7 55.5 to DBL Powell, bowled!
