Shashikala Siriwardene will lead a 20-member Sri Lanka women squad for their limited-overs tour of New Zealand from November 3 to 22.
Sri Lanka, who were last in New Zealand during the Women's World Cup in 2000, will play five ODIs and three T20s in Lincoln, Christchurch and Nelson. New Zealand coach Haidee Tiffen was thrilled with the prospect of a home summer comprising two home series, the second of which will feature Australia early next year.
"It's great to have Sri Lanka visiting for their first series here, and they're a team that has improved a lot in recent years," Tiffen told New Zealand Cricket. "We'll have to be on our game."
The first ODI between New Zealand and Sri Lanka will be played on November 3 in Lincoln.
