He represented South Queensland Under 19, Queensland Country Under 19 and Queensland Country Development Squad in 1997-98. In 1999-00 he was a member of the Queensland Country team for the matches against Victoria Institute of Sport at Caloundra and was a member of the South Queensland team for the Country Cup match against North Queensland at Mackay. He was again selected for South Queensland in this season and will be making his debut at the National Country Championships.
