Ireland won by 21 runs (D/L method)
Played at Sylhet Stadium (neutral venue)
19 March 2014 - night match (20-over match)

Amjad Ali and Faisan Asif are out in the middle

Toss, 7pm: Ireland have won the the toss and they are fielding first.. Still waiting on the teams.

Porterfield says his pacers will have some help early on. Murtagh comes in for Andy McBrine. Just the one change.

Ahmed Raza and Asadullah come in for UAE. Khurram reckons 140 will be a competitive target. That was the case in the previous match today.

6.55pm: We just saw Zimbabwe stretch the game to the final ball, for the second time. They got over the line this time though. Now it's time to focus our attention on the second game of the evening in Sylhet. Ireland take on UAE. The toss is on shortly. You may read the preview here.

Mark: "Ireland will be very disappointed if they do not win this one. They will also want to win big as an insurance against losing their last match and qualification coming down to NRR. It is hard to imagine UAE being able to push this match close."

It's not always that you get the chance to pick Malinga. And Dhoni. And Afridi. And Gayle. And Steyn. In the same team. You can have all of them playing for you in the ESPNcricinfo T20 Fantasy. Huge prizes to be won, so get in and pick your teams. (Remember, the game only begins on March 21 with the main draw, but you can select your XI now)

A real struggle for UAE here as they post a below par 123. The running between the wickets was ordinary at the start of the innings. They needed one player to bat through and Anwar looked set to do that but his dismissal put the pressure back on the batsmen. Too many dot balls in the innings. The slower balls weren't easy to get away. Tough ask to defend this. Catch you soon for the chase.
