World T20, 29th Match, Group 1: England v Netherlands at Chittagong, Mar 31, 2014
World T20 - 29th match, Group 1
Netherlands won by 45 runs
Played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong (neutral venue)
31 March 2014 - day/night match (20-over match)

Broad to Swart, OUT, length on off stump, Swart tries to lift it over the on side but gets nowhere near the necessary connection and chips a catch to mid-on, Stephen Parry claiming a simple chance. Didn't exactly give that the full kitchen sink, went to just raise it over the infield rather than really whack it but got it all wrong

MR Swart c Parry b Broad 13 (17m 15b 2x4 0x6) SR: 86.66

Netherlands 34/1   SJ Myburgh 16* (8b 4x4)   SCJ Broad 0.5-0-2-1

Bopara to Myburgh, OUT, oh dear full toss on leg stump, Myburgh wheels it down the leg side but straight to deep-backward square! What a terrible dismissal. A dreadful delivery that should have gone miles but Myburgh has plucked out the deep fielder to perfection who pockets the catch, bad loss for the Dutch, especially in that fashion

SJ Myburgh c Hales b Bopara 39 (45m 31b 6x4 1x6) SR: 125.80

Netherlands 84/2   W Barresi 22* (21b 1x4 1x6)   RS Bopara 1.1-0-4-1

Broad to TLW Cooper, OUT, full of length just outside off stump, swung hard over the off side, in comes Jordan and he holds a blinder! So many put down by England but here, running back, Jordan has reached out with one hand and claimed it superbly. Cooper got it off the toe end

TLW Cooper c Jordan b Broad 8 (18m 15b 0x4 0x6) SR: 53.33

Netherlands 110/3   W Barresi 37* (36b 2x4 1x6)   SCJ Broad 2.1-0-6-2

Broad to Borren, OUT, slower ball, tries to be slapped down the ground but a weak connection and a simple catch to mid-off where Parry takes it on the edge of the circle. Pretty ugly innings from Borren really with that mistimed final stroke summing it up

PW Borren c Parry b Broad 7 (14m 10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 70.00

Netherlands 131/4   W Barresi 48* (43b 2x4 2x6)   SCJ Broad 4-0-24-3

Jordan to Barresi, OUT, full and straight, Barresi looks to hit over the leg side, misses completely and the stumps are scattered. It wasn't the perfect yorker but full and straight at pace is often effective enough and so it proved there. Decent hand from Barresi but couldn't take this innings forward for his side

W Barresi b Jordan 48 (66m 45b 2x4 2x6) SR: 106.66

Netherlands 131/5   Mudassar Bukhari 0* (0b)   CJ Jordan 2.2-0-12-1
