ICC World Twenty20 - 19th match, Group F

West Indies v India

West Indies won by 14 runs

9.55am National anthems going on. Rahul Bhasin: "Does anyone have any idea what the name of the tune is that plays before the national anthems as the players are stepping on the field? I absolutely LOVE it." It's called Conquest of Paradise, an OST from Ridley Scott's 1492: Conquest of Paradise. David Owen writes in, "This is a tough one to call as a West Indian (living in England). My head says that on paper 4-5 of this Indian squad would be in a World 11 and that they are so well balanced as a team that they will win this whatever. On the other hand, my heart is hoping for miracles from someone on the WI team..Gayle? Shiv? Roach?" Gayle and Shiv walk out as we read more feedback. Bhaj to open the bowling again. One slip in, round the wicket he goes to CG

9.30am And it's time for toss, after half-an-hour delay. MS Dhoni calls heads, it is heads, and India will be bowling first. "Slightly on the damp side," he says. "Reminds me of the first World T20, when last four-five matches were do-or-die for us." They are playing the same XI, which means extra batsman again, and which is surprising. As expected, West Indies have brought back Denesh Ramdin to keep wicket after Andre Fletcher struggled in the last match. Sacha De Alwis from Cayman Islands agrees with the move: "the fact that you say the andre fletcher "struggled" last match was a huge understatement....living in the West Indies I have seen these men play cricket and he just doesnt have any cricketing sense. Dinesh Ramdin should have been playing over Fletcher on any day, any pitch, against any team."

It's the same pitch as the one where awesome Australia outclassed India. Ian Bishop reckons it is softer because of the moisture, but there should be some seam movement here. And it is a 20-over match despite the delay.

9.12am Okay the sun is out as we speak. Players are warming up. Do keep watching this space.

8.56am Further news is, the pitch is wet, so there could be further delay too. It's overcast down in Barbados.

8.51am Hold on, champs. The start has been delayed by half an hour, because of overnight rain. So no toss in 10 minutes. Let's see if it means fewer number of overs. Stay with us

8.50am Financial powerhouse v the hosts. Most-watched team on TV v the local favourites. One of them will be all but gone today. Hello and welcome to this crucial match between India and West Indies. Toss in 10 minutes

Sam: "And if u want to listen to the Bollywood version of the tune, catch up on the soundtrack of "Josh", the 2000 - SRK starrer." I'll correct you here. It was Koyla, but yes an SRK starrer.
