Profile

A top-order batsman who can also keep wicket, Will Bragg has gone a long way towards making Glamorgan's No. 3 spot his own since his first-class debut in that position in 2007. Mark Cosgrove's prolific scoring temporarily displaced him, and it is telling that Bragg had not made a first-class century three years into his professional career, but his place in Glamorgan's First XI was earned through some hard slog and plenty of runs for the Seconds and it is only a matter of time until he develops into a regular first-class performer. Indeed, it seemed he had come of age when he hit four consecutive half-centuries in a successful start to the 2011 season.
