ICC World Twenty20 - 24th match, Group E

India v South Africa

South Africa won by 12 runs

6.2

Botha to Gambhir, OUT, And spin does the trick right away. It was flighted around the off stump, Gambhir tried to chip it over extra cover but the ball spun to take the edge and flew towards deep cover

India 48/1   RG Sharma 26* (19b 3x4)   J Botha 0.2-0-1-1

8.6

Botha to Raina, OUT, Spin is king on this wicket. Botha lured Raina into the big hit with a well flighted delivery on the middle and leg stump. Raina went for the big slog sweep but was done in by the turn to edge it high to long-on. Gone! Another failure for the young man.

SK Raina c M Morkel b Botha 3 (7m 8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 37.50

India 55/2   RG Sharma 29* (27b 3x4)   J Botha 2-0-6-2

Duminy to RG Sharma, OUT, SA are doing superbly here. Rohit falls to a spinner now. Very risky shot. He shuffled outside off stump and tried to flick it from there but ended up slicing a dolly of a catch to backward point. 56 for 3 and they are wobbling here. Enter the captain.

RG Sharma c Steyn b Duminy 29 (39m 28b 3x4 0x6) SR: 103.57

India 56/3   Yuvraj Singh 1* (4b)   JP Duminy 0.5-0-1-1

12.6

M Morkel to Yuvraj Singh, 1 wide, OUT, Dhoni is run out. Yuvraj is stunned that Dhoni even ran for it. It slipped down the leg side, a wide, it runs to Boucher who doesn't collect it cleanly but the ball didn't roll away too far from him. He just took couple of steps and he had the ball. Dhoni was more than half-way down the track and Boucher relayed the throw to the bowler who took a few steps before calmly under-arming a direct hit at the non-striker's end. Yuvraj looks very surprised.

MS Dhoni run out 5 (11m 12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 41.66

13.3

van der Merwe to Pathan, OUT, South Africa climb all over India who spin away towards the abyss. Yuvraj stands alone. It was flighted delivery around the off stump, perhaps stopped a touch on Yusuf who pushed it tamely to cover. South Africa roar.

18.2

Steyn to Yuvraj Singh, OUT, Big wicket. It was a similar delivery to the previous one; another yorker length delivery outside off stump, Yuvraj tries to square drive initially, gets the bat down in a hurry in the end to jab it away and it deflected to Boucher who dived to his left to take it. The bowler appeals for a catch. Bowden is not sure and goes upstairs. The ball bounced just before the bat hit the ground and the ball took the edge to Boucher, who took it cleanly. The verdict is out.

Yuvraj Singh c †Boucher b Steyn 25 (47m 25b 1x4 1x6) SR: 100.00

India 106/7   RA Jadeja 1* (1b)   DW Steyn 2.2-0-20-1

18.5

Steyn to Khan, OUT, Zaheer holes out to AB at long-on. It was full, not yorker length, and Zaheer got under the ball and lofted it high but couldn't clear AB. And then they were two.

Z Khan c de Villiers b Steyn 4 (1m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 133.33
